That's good, but if they dont I would make him a guest account for many reasons. (I assume you use windows) http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/what-is-a-guest-account (quite self explanatory if you ask me.)

Problem with guest accounts is that you have no clue what they've been doing on your computer...

He's coming sometime next week. He's been living with someone else and it hasn't been working out at all. None of us learned about it until today. He'll apparently be working though. And he does like to spend a decent amount of time outside. I'm just blowing things a bit out of proportion.

 

 Thank you for the advice Rain. I'll keep that in mind. Though Sey makes a good point too.

That because Guest accounts are extremely limited. They cant even access a user's files.

A third type of account that is created with default Windows Vista installations is the Guest account. This account is designed for users who require temporary access to a computer and don’t need to store their user-specific profile settings permanently. For example, if a friend is visiting your home and just needs to launch a Web browser to check her e-mail, you can allow her to use the Guest account. Users who log on as a guest have a very limited set of permissions. For example, they cannot access other users’ files or perform systemwide tasks such as installing software or hardware.

For security reasons, the built-in Guest account is disabled by default. This prevents users from having an option to log on to the system as Guest.

The garage is my dad's place Miaq. He likes to hang out and work there. Plus, I can't force him to do anything.

That is why I prefer them. Saves time. They also expect if you make them an account that you would keep it (or at least remove the files they may of downloaded and such) so its just much simpler for me to do it that way.
