Actually, Discovery and Hasbro were co-owners, but their term ended and Hasbro decided to let Discovery take control.  Hasbro still has a good amount of control, so their shows will dominate the day-time programming, but they might start looking to other channels.  I wouldn't say that Discovery took over though.
