That is true. Though my grandfather payed me to clear out this old small house that the renters moved out. It was by far the worst thing I've ever seen. Black mold was thick throughout the house, and even the air.  I'd never allow my house to be like that, even rented.

Oh that sounds bad D: I've been on community service trips where houses were just that bad.. I don't think I have to worry about letting my house get like that since I'm pretty good at keeping things picked up and cleaned. 

And isn't it worse to let a rented house get trashed? Can't you get fined for keeping it trashed?

Well when I and a friend cleaned it out we found chemicals and gas masks in the basement, you can probably guess what they were brewing. The thing was they left with no contact so we couldn't fine them anything since we didn't know they left until 2 months later.  

 

That's cool you do community service though. I served at a soup kitchen not too long ago.
