School classes always have a bunch of odd requirements. Sometimes they make sense, but a lot of them are just so...random. They have nothing to do with anything and are pointless.

 

Often times it only seems that way to the student.  There may be cases where you won't realize the why for several years.  ...it also depends on what the class is; it could just be time-kill work to keep you and the instructor doing something.

It might be so that you'll have a better understanding of human anatomy and how it can be reflected in legal matters... I have no idea.  I avoid biology-related classes as much as possible; thankfully, it is not required for my degree choice.
