Buying a Mac isn't always the answer my dear Smash. Don't get me wrong, I like Macs, but their price-performance ratio doesn't actually justify. Also buying a Mac just because your operating system got corrupted by an antivirus isn't really sensible. Maybe getting a better antivirus would not only make much more sense, it would be FREE to do since Macs of course cost money. Lots of money, and a good antivirus can be downloaded for absolutely no charge whatsoever... :squee:

My Dell Inspiron has never failed me after 2 years. Was a little pricy ($600-700?), but it was worth it.

Or you know, you could just build your own computer yourself. That's much cheaper than buying a pre-build that maybe priced at $800 but its performance is equivalent to a $400 custom build.
