Minnesota's still kinda Mumpy, right now 6th in the Central and 21st in the League. Dallas is off to a rough start, 20th in the league, and 5th in the Central.

So, the prospect of those two teams facing in the Classic sounds good, but with those kinds of numbers I wouldn't expect the highest quality of play.

 

Here's how I'd do it:

 

2016: Kings at Rangers, Yankee Stadium

2017: Stars at Wild, Target Field or University of Minnesota

2018: Red Wings at Avalanche, Mile High

You have to remember the Central is the most tightly contested division, considering Chicago, Nashville, St. Louis, Winnipeg, Dallas, Minnesota, and Colorado comprise that division.

Wind Chaser attempted to make the Gala that night, but had to take the train. Then the train got cancelled. Then he found out he had a doctor's appointment on the same night. At the same time he had scheduled an appointment with his therapist.

 

He promptly left the train station and headed downtown upon remembering his appointment.

 

Then a drill bit came down, sliced open the subway train he was riding on, and cut his guts open.

 

 

He was in the hospital for the next month.
