Sei, all you need to know for now is that on a 20 sided die, a 20 accomplishes literally anything you try and you accomplish the living hell out of it (I once crossed a giant chasm and the DM let me grow wings because I nat 20'd) and a critical fail (1) accomplishes nothing and worse...you could knock on a door, roll a 1, and break your hand, be attacked by a swarm of bees, a rock hits you in the head, and then the orc answers the door, steals all your gear, and leaves you with 1 HP. That kind of shit happens :lol:

Man I need to get some friends that would do something like Pathfinder with me

Swirls, i wasn't planning on it either, but the trailers made me change my mind :lol:

I mean, come on, it's a Madeline L'engle reference :)

Still doubtful we'll see her in season 5. But it would be a nice surprise.

 Why not Swirl?

I'd play it with you Sey, but you know...kinda far away.

I loved playing Pathfinder. I had a female monk with 26 Acrobatics and 36 Jump (to put it in perspective, all my other skills were around 12 - 18). We determined that for every 4 points of  of Jump I had, it translated into 1 foot of a vertical jump. So a crit fail could mean I break my legs. But rolling just a 2 on a Jump check would give me 38 total. 9½ feet in the air just jumping from a standstill. So everywhere we went, I would randomly jump. When it came around to my turn, I'd just say "LOL I JUMP IN THE AIR" and I'd roll for it. If I rolled a 19 on my Jump check, it totals, 55. Or a 13¾ foot jump standing still.

DM eventually got tired of my shit and put us in lots of places with low ceilings  :lol:

If you try to jump, you will hit your head and get hurt. Dont. Jump.

Ah, the terrible loss of interest...I'd say you should at least give the premiere a watch, and then decide if you want to watch the rest, since sometimes that's all it takes to reinvigorate your interest in something, but it's up to you.

 Woona, were you trying to turn it into a game of Mario?

Pathfinder and DnD are a lot of fun. I know people look down on it like it's the devil's game but it's not anything like that. There is no sacrificing the blood of a goat to a god. :P Really, a bunch of friends gather around a table, roll some funky dice, and use that thing called an imagination (which is evidently frowned upon if you're not 8 years old).

@Rorri:

I watched the trailer, but I didn't catch the reference. Where was it?

Well, the fact that all the ponies have the same smile and cutie mark and everything reminds me of one of the Wrinkle in Time books, I think it was A Swiftly Tilting Planet where everyone was the same?

I think that I know someone who has it, but I'm not sure whether I'd be able to play it with him, since he doesn't have nearly as much free time as i do :P
