Ambrose Pare of France... Called a 'great' surgeon for making wounded soldiers feel better.... but the treatments are just a bit... ull see

 

Ingredients:

2 new born puppies, 1/2kg earthwarms, 1kg of lilly oil, 1/2kg turpentine and 25g of brandy

 

Heat the oil and oil the puppies alive. Drown the earthworms in white wine and add them. Boil and strain. Add the brandy and turpentine and rub mixture on wound...

Well: here is some medieval stuff for you:

 

For uncurable headache--> cut the skull, take the brain out and rub with salt. Then put back (something tells me not many lived to tell us if it cured the headache)

For cold-> Drink blood from a black cats tail ( a lot of medieval cures contained black cats...or parts of black cats)

fever-> Cut a pigeon in half and place half on each foot

swollen joints-> boiled a red-haired dog in oil, add worms, pig marrow and herbs and place on affected area
