So at work today I turned a PDF into a JPEG in Acrobat because I needed to take the bottom of one page and make it the top and make the top of the second page the bottom of the first page. It turned out that our scanner is pretty badass because the images turned out to be 10,200 x 13,200. I tried using MS Paint because that's the only image editing software I have on my work computer. This was the result of that.

 

 

I bet my RAM was like HELP ME I'M MELTING!!!!!

 

Those things only have 6 GB. 

 

So I saved the images on a flash drive and took them home. My home PC has 12 GB and GIMP so it can take this stuff much better. So the RAM on my personal PC was like "WHAAAA BRO FEED ME BIGGER IMAGES!!!" Plus it has the computing power of at least 10 of my work computers in tandem

You might think I'm exaggerating but

 

 

Now the 1 bit color depth (black and white - 2 bit is greyscale and most images you take on a camera are going to be 32 bit) keeps the images down to 180 kilobytes each but I'm guessing all the pixels are what take up so much RAM

I think the reason why I can VA so well outside of MLP is because of my vocal range.

I mean, my RAM was just all over the place, trying to allocate resources everywhere all at once. I knew it wasn't a very great computer, but I thought it felt a little laggy. But, you know, I'd bet that using 99% of your memory at times on any machine will cause your system to lag
