CPU + Mobo (Can't sell them separately since I don't have the CPU box anymore), my old graphics card, and my old power supply.

Motherboard: ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0. It uses the 990 FX Chipset.

CPU: AMD FX-6300 Vishera 3.5 GHz

GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7770

PSU: Corsair TX-650

What motherboard is that though? I assume it's going to be Z97 because of the Haswell Refresh K-series CPU, though what brand and what model?  :maud:

Filly, this is the motherboard I ended up getting today.

And yes, it's Z97 ;)

I took a gamble and got a refurbished board rather than a brand new one outright. This was about 35% less expensive than a new board of this kind. I showed it to Daring and he said it seemed like a nice board. He liked the 8+2 power phase (and I'm going to have to do more research into that, but from what I can gather, it just means it has better electricity delivery and better overclocking potential). I liked it because it looks like a solid board, it's ASUS and while I think ASUS is a bit on the overpriced side, they do have well-built products (in my experience), and it has plenty of expansion slots, unlike all the CPU+motherboard deals I was finding on Newegg. So hopefully this was something someone used for a few days, decided he didn't like it, so he sent it back and it's hardly been used.

I tend to buy major parts like the CPU, GPU, mobo, etc new because you want the warranty and whatnot that comes with a new part. But I've spent enough money on this thing. I need to seriously chill. So that's why I took a gamble on a refurb. I don't mind gettign minor parts like a network card or a blu-ray drive used. But the major components...I don't know. I'll have to see what this is like. I don't think it's going to be bad because it's a manufacturer refurbished board.

Don't let this happen when you wake up, @!

Title text: Hang on, I've heard this problem. We need to pour water into the duct until the phone floats up and ... wait, phones sink in water. Mercury. We need a vat of mercury to pour down the vent. That will definitely make this situation better and not worse.

Yeah, we're definitely on the same 'board' right now... :P

Okay, that's a tastelessly-done pun on "the same page".

Night Woona! ^_^
