Hm. Still, I'd like to be able to check my transmission fluid every now and then. Though (out of a force of habit) I observe under my car to make sure it's dry. I once saw a small gathering of fluid under there are kind of panicked because I thought it was oil. Turned out to be just water. Probably from the condenser.

 

The weird part was that it'd been sitting there for about 4 hours....I thought it would all have dried up by then.

Hondas are known for very sturdy powertrains. Technically, you never have to check the tranny fluid in a Honda.

I heard the early 2000s models were rife with transmission problems. Especially Civics and Accords. I've heard some people say Prelude transmissions weren't the most reliable they've made, but I put 196K on the original transmission. And I drove that thing hard all the way up until I got rid of it lol I actually had no concern for the condition of the transmission. The engine was a different story. It seemed like every week it sprang a new leak. Then there were the constant overheating episodes last summer. That motor still fired right up and had plenty of get-go all the way up until we traded it. I abused that poor thing. The fact it still ran after I was done with it is nothing short of a miracle. It was literally everything else on that car that was falling apart. The body was in rough shape. Paint was starting to chip off in areas, some asshole backed up into me and didn't leave insurance info so I had a big dent near the driver's headlight, the brakes made grinding sounds, the belt was in pretty rough shape, the list goes on. It still ran fine, though. 

 

I hope the person who buys that car (God help that man) can take better care of it than I could. If I made more money, I'd have loved to keep it as a project car.

It's sad that good old stick shift is dying. I miss my '81 Land Cruiser. Such a pleasurable deathtrap to drive

 

It pretty much had no radio, no power steering (a system was there, but not very functional), no clutch, no brakes. It tried to kill me every chance it got. But there was never a dull moment!

So there was a funny story behind this. 

 

I was using the skyfall cheat after getting 5 star wanted levels. Well for some reason I couldn't control my direction when I would use the cheat, and I ended up miles out at sea. When I finally lost me wanted level, I got control again. So I just turned around and started heading back for Los Santos. The cool part is that I got right to the shore on the very first try

 

By the way, if you can stream it at 1080p60, this is what it looks like on an R9 290 and an i5-4690K at stock speeds.

 

I'll grab some other things at other points and show you guys the kind of performance I'm getting in this game as this really wasn't too difficult on this card. I was just having fun creating general mayhem

my old laptop overheated by watching videos after some years and died at the end and my new laptop is only a used one, so kind scared to get overheating again
