But, can I pass a 3D char array into a function that wants me to pass a 2D char* array?

No I cannot, but I can pass an element from a 3D char array (or 2D char* array) into a function that expects a char*

 

But I just realized, you would never pass a 2D char* array into a function anyway :lol:

I think I will re-write the game to use 3D char arrays instead of 2D const char* arrays to save objects.

maybe I should stay with char* arrays...
