@, I also got mine around 2012, so I would estimate the same time as you. Mine is an HP.

My first laptop was an HP. I eventually turned it into Frankentop. ^_^ it was in a shoebox in about 50 different parts for about 3 months or so til I finally put it back together and threw a new hard drive in it ^_^

I also do not like summer much, it feels uncomfortable :P

I prefer much more fall or winter which are more cozy :)

@Sunwalker I prefer winter over all.

I live in Oklahoma. If the weather is trying to give you a heat stroke or freeze you to death, it's pelting you with baseball sized hail. I prefer the cold way over the hot, though. Warmer weather = more bugs. Also, you can keep putting clothes on. You can only take so many off. I don't understand why someone would want it to be 95 degrees. It is just beyond my level of comprehension. You know what I do when I'm hot and only in shorts and a tank top? Nothing. I can't take anything off without feeling naked. You know what I do when I get cold? Add a layer.

Everyone in my family thinks there's something wrong with me when I sweat because it's 80 degrees. But then they all worry I'll get sick when I go outside, it's well below freezing, and I'm wearing shorts, a t-shirt, and no shoes.

Goodblub Base!

I should go to bed too. Goodnight everyone!

Bleep. :maud:

Everyday is basically summer here indaPilipins. (Y'don't say? :comeatus:)

At least rains happen from now and then, and speaking of that, during the December to March timeframe, we get this nice cool breeze from the northeasterlies, which is actually too cold for us sometimes.

, I understand you. The heat sometimes makes me feel a bit sick, and the sweat gets annoying, it makes clothes stick to the skin. That stinks (pun intended :P).

Dreihunderteinunddreißigtausendneunhundertfünfundfünfzig

Drei hundert - ein (und) dreißig - tausend - neun hundert - fünf (und) fünfzig

300                 31                          1000        900                  55

Three hundred - thirty-one - thousand - nine hundred - fifty-five

Two things that make the German version weird:

1) In German there is no need for there to be spaces between words if they're making a proper noun. This is why a law in English is a collection of words while in Germany a law is one big, long word.

2) When counting in the double digits, ones are placed before tenths. As well, it's mandatory to add 'und' (and in German) between the words. Literally translated it's like saying one and thirty. This is different for hundreds and thousands, as one-thousand-one (1,001) would be referred to as tausendeins.

Some Trivia:

* -zig, or in the case of drei (3), ßig (Sharp S, or ss. Think braSS), is attached to single numbers to form tens. (eg. 20, 30, 40)

    - Zwei is special in that you do not say zweizig, but rather zwanzig. You do however say zweihundert and zweitausend.

    - There is no such thing as einzig, as ten is referred to as zehn. However, you can say einhundert and eintausend, though the ein is not necessary.

    - the -en in sieben is removed when saying seventy, so siebzig. This rule also applies for seventeen, or siebzehn.

* -zehn is added to numbers to form teens. Zehn by itself is ten, so literally translated you're saying three ten, four ten, five ten. The exceptions to this rule are eleven and twelve, which are elf und zwölf.

* When referring to one, you say eins rather than ein. This is removed if it's part of a greater number, like einundzwanzig. Also, sechs (six) loses its -s in sechzehn (sixteen) and sechzig (sixty) for obvious reasons.
