Well that was kinda painful. Good news is my teeth are cleaner than they've been in probably 3 years. Bad news is I've got a root canal appointment on Wednesday and I'm pretty nervous about it. From what I know, they numb the area pretty well with a local anesthetic, but you're awake. However, they don't knock you out. I've never been been awake through a procedure so I'm nervous about Wednesday.

I'm just. I dunno. I'm not nervous about getting doped up. I've been through surgery a number of times. Like I said earlier, I've never been awake through a procedure so I'm nervous about that one. They say modern anesthesia has rendered the procedure virtually (if at all) painless. But it needs to be done or the decay is only going to get worse. Sometimes things have to get messy before they get better. At least, that's the way I see it. Suffer in the short term for a greater benefit in the long run.

It will probably go fine Woona. I got really unlucky with my experiences. And most of those were still years ago, so it's probably a lot better now in general.

 

 It's still the new player for me.

Oh yeah. I'm not worried that something drastic is going to happen. These folks go through years of training before they can operate on people. It's still a little unnerving that I'll probably be awake XD Oh well. I guess there's a first time for everything. I'd rather just do it because I prefer the concept of having all my teeth. 

 

Anyway, enough about dentists. My phone's armband came in today. Yep, I'm gonna be one of those people
