Duramaxes are hands down the worst. From there, it's personal preference as to which is better between Powerstrokes and Cummins. Historically, the Cummins is America's workhorse. They've been consistently bulletproof, and have always been one of the best engines every built. Ford has had it issues with the Powerstroke, especially when they switched from International making them to going in-house.

We haven't had many problems with the Duramax engines on the farm. Then again, my old man gets a new truck every 3 or 4 years it seems :P He actually took his last pickup to 100,000 miles and decided it was time to trade it off. My uncle, on the other hand, has an '01 Cummins with 282,000 on it. Some time ago, it actually caught fire and a lot of the truck was toasted. He just replaced the things that needed replacing. The motor was okay. Thing still runs. From that, I reckon you could safely say a Cummins will take a lot of abuse lol My pop already has 30,000 on his new truck so he just bought an '02 Tacoma for all his smaller tasks like watering cows, checking fences, and just general driving around  I have a preference for Japanese motors. When I was a little kid, we had an '84 Celica that finally quit running at about 386,000 (or that's what I was told anyway). I remember if we were going slow, we had to kill the motor every now and then because there was a problem with the fan and the motor would overheat. I actually had the exact same problem with the Prelude a couple months before selling it off. It started overheating on the interstate because I guess the radiator got so warm at some point it cracked a hose and lost all the coolant. So I had to limp it about 3 miles to a gas station right off the highway XD Fun times  I'm sure if I had taken better care of that car, it wouldn't have been so rough. 197,000 on a Honda is just breaking it in :derp: But when I was 17, pushing it over redline was a regular Tuesday. :P

Ya know. Redline is just a suggestion, after all. Let's see if we can get this baby up to 8,500 today XD

Anyway, have a Shia Lebeouf

:derp:

My granddad used to have an early 90's Ram with a Cummins in it. When he sold it, it had about 300,000 miles on it, perfectly clean, no rust, and in immaculate shape. That was a great truck.

It's ok, Filleh, I forgive you.

Anywho, I'm really happy. There's a RP thing I do, and it's always ongoing. Generally, show characters are already spoken for in it, and impossible to get the opportunity. I started out playing OD in it, and I brought a few other characters in.

Anyway, I got a really cool opportunity in it today, because the moderators of it have given me the opportunity to play the group's Flash Sentry.
