I had to leave work early. I think I'm coming down with something. My throat has been sore since yesterday and I'm starting to develop a cough today. I felt awful about leaving early. I feel generally fine, not miserable. But I hated to be the reason someone else gets sick.

It's nothing serious enough to see a doctor about. It's probably just a little cold. If it persists and I develop some more serious symptoms, I might go see a doctor just to rule out strep throat, which would probably require some antibiotics. There is no cure for a cold except rest.
