I agree that endings are annoying, but they're a lot better than things that have a cliffhanger and are just canceled

That's true, but I kinda would like it if it just...stopped. 

 

 Like, those endings where say, a group splits up, or it shows everyone in the future married with kids, or whatever. I don't like them, I'd prefer it just be treated like the endings that came before. Wrap up everything that needs to be wrapped up and just leave it there.

Never saw the end to Harry Potter.

 

 I just don't really like it when "The end" literally feels like an ending entirely. Like, if MLP eventually ends I'd want the ending to be treated like any old season finale. The mane six beat the bad guy, celebrate, and then life goes on, just we won't see it anymore.

 

That'd be better to me than literally "Ending" it. If they did that it'd just leave me feeling depressed about the whole thing.

I kind of prefer things to have a true ending. Some TV shows I liked were cancelled after the last episode ended on a cliffhanger.

 

It's sad to see characters I'd come to love stuck forever in Limbo, their fates never to be revealed.

I thinking ending a series with a cliffhanger is a very bad idea. A lot of shows get suddenly cancelled these days. Each series should wrap things up but leave room for future development.
