That does factor into it, but it's also that I do enjoy my work. Being an accountant is immeasurably better than being a sales associate at Sears. And it's a challenging job. People think accounting is boring, but it's very challenging. And deadlines are actually underrated. They do suck in a sense that I have to have certain things done by a certain time, but that keeps me from procrastinating too much and once the deadline has come and gone, it's one less thing I have to worry about. At least, until the next deadline comes in lol 

 

Also, this job pays about 2.5 times as much as my Sears job.
