It's a 3.5L V6 good for 200 hp.

To put it in perspective,

 

My 3,000 pound, 200 hp, 2.2L I4 Honda gets 25 on a good day. An SUV doing 20 mpg really isn't terrible. Especially now that gas is down to a hair over $2 a gallon. I don't know what it is in Pitt, but in OKC, I've seen it as low as $2.03 this week for E10 or around $2.30 for 100% gas. 

 

I don't like putting ethanol in my car. I've heard it destroys fuel pumps. And with my car being so old, I just don't like doing it. I've had to a time or two before, but I generally try to avoid it. Because in 2000, E10 was nonexistent. That motor and fuel system wasn't designed with gasohol in mind. But anyway, for a vehicle like that, I wouldn't be upset about 20 mpg one bit.
