We make more friends as we go along, believe me. Most of the group were established when I joined, and I managed to join in. Likewise with Woona and many others. 

Then I guess I am just not good at making friends....

You aren't ruining the thread and you aren't worthless. Don't you even dare say that. I've dealt with feeling legitimately worthless for most of my life. That's nothing to have to live with.

 

I'm pretty new to this group. At one point I was unknown in these parts and now I'm a regular. We all have to be new at one point. It's awkward, yes. But that makes none of us any better than you.

 

And we're all telling you that you can join the Skype group. If that isn't am invitation, I don't know what is.

 

I don't know why you feel disliked or worthless simply for being new. Do you feel like you have to prove yourself to be accepted? Because that's silly.

I still haven't met her . I want to meet her, I don't want the relationship to deplete into nothing  . I am not sure my parents will let me (they have expressed their anger over me being in a relationship with a foreigner) (and I am still waiting to hear any news about my job application (been waiting for months now)). I might never be able to see her  .....

 

She is currently gone from the forums for 3 weeks and I am already troubled with a lot of other stuff that are pressuring me so hard (or at least in my opinion they are ). 

 

I don't want to have Puck as my only friend. I want to be able to have other friends (and I want her to have more friends as well as she deserves all the happiness in the world). 

 

I am pretty worthless since I am making you feel bad for having a gf. I shouldn't come here again  . I'm sorry

Why do you do this to yourself? I certainly don't feel bad. I feel worse for you that you feel this way about yourself.

You say you don't want Puck as your only friend. Here we are, imploring you to hang with us, and you are saying you'll stay away. Why are you so damn scared? We don't bite. We want you to be our friend. You've been posting here a while anyway. You aren't really all that new. So stop doing this. And stop telling yourself you're worthless. That scares me for you. I dealt with that most of my life and it brought many thoughts for ending myself. So feelings of worthlessness....that's a big deal to me. We're not asking you in out of pity or anything like that. We legitimately want you to be included. So stop acting like you're taxing us by our independent act of asking you to be part of the group.

I had that fear too. But you don't make friends by not talking to them. And if you need to talk to us, we're here for you. Shit happens. Life is hard. But it's beautiful. We like funny things. And ponies. And if someone is having a hard time, we like to talk things out. It's the dynamic of our group. Nobody is a perfect fit. We all add our own spice to the soup that is CTAM. Don't be afraid to be included.

Someone like you? You're a legitimately nice guy. Maybe you've got some things that weigh you down. Who doesn't? I'm extremely self conscious and standoffish. I used to be depressed and suicidal as a teenager. I had abusive parents. I'll be damned if that stops me!

I guess what I'm trying to say is we all have our problems. So what!
