Eh, it's kinda confusing. I love romance stories actually, but just the way people treat romance in real life and think about it I guess...

 

 I've never really been into having a real romantic relationship, just indifferent. But how people view romance has made me feel...kinda useless...

Like...Back in school when I had "Friends" if they started dating they'd basically stop hanging out with their friends, including me at all, until they weren't dating anymore.

 

 Or people saying their special someone is their "Best friend", or how friendships are always put to the side, or people can't or just won't do certain things with a lot of their friends anymore in relationships, or...

 

 It's just this gnawing feeling of dread honestly. I don't want a relationship, other people do. They'll put tons of time and effort into those relationships if they care about them. If all my friends get into relationships they'll have less time for other people, even if they don't outright ignore me, I'll still be less important then... I just can't get this image out of my head, of 20 years from now everyone around me in relationships, happy and loved. And me alone, not because I desperately want a relationship, but because I just want friends and everyone has someone else more important now...
