Mine was ok, a normal day. Only interesting was, that it was my last school day forever (except for the worst case I failed the abitur exams). It feels  a little bit strange that 3 years of school are now over.

Ha, you cheeky Germans caught me out on May 1st.

We nightstopped in Dusseldorf 30/04-01/05 and didn't have to report until late afternoon.

Wake up on 1st, have breakfast, go for a walk. Everywhere is shut, what's going on?

...ah, it's May Day, they must take the actual day unlike us mad English-types who wait until the first Monday of May (so we don't lose out if May 1st = Sat/Sun)
