Heh, the gif.

 

The riddle is that there is a wall. 4 people are buried up to their heads and are wearing black or white hats. One person is on one side of the wall, and then the other 3 are lines up so that the person in the front cannot see the other 2, the middle person can see the guy in front, and the guy in the back can see them both. They have a minute to guess the color of their hat or they die. One person is immediately able to tell which color it is. Which one is it? See the picture: 0 means person with a black hat, 1 means white. |||| is the wall.

The guy in the middle (on the right side) immediately knows; since the person in the back sees that there is a black and white hat in front of him, then the back person can't tell if his is white or black. Since the person in front of the middle guy is wearing.. Black I think? Then his must be white to satisfy that the group has both black and white hats.
