Mason was enveloped in an explosion on his side of the arena. For a while, the smoke kept anyone from seeing what had happened to him, but when the smoke cleared, he appears intact, the burn marks on his face were quickly reconstructing themself, implying that he had taken the full force of the blast and simply regenerated in that short time. "Are you holding something back?" He asked. "Or was Crimson really beaten by someone this weak?"

 

sole watched as mason came out almost unscathed by the attack and sighed, before shrugging with a grin. "Yeah, your right... I am holding back. Looks like I need to pull out all the stops to beat you." He said as he removed the wristbands from his arms and legs, revealing strange shackles of energy around them. "I must warn you... I've been training and building my energy all night. I don't know how well I'll be able to controle it... Reigan." He mumbled, releasing the seals. As he did a wave of energy flowed out, and he shot forward with incredible speed and began to hit mason with a flurry of powerful punches to the face.

sole watched as mason came out almost unscathed by the attack and sighed, before shrugging with a grin. "Yeah, your right... I am holding back. Looks like I need to pull out all the stops to beat you." He said as he removed the wristbands from his arms and legs, revealing strange shackles of energy around them. "I must warn you... I've been training and building my energy all night. I don't know how well I'll be able to controle it... Reigan." He mumbled, releasing the seals. As he did a wave of energy flowed out, and he shot forward with incredible speed and began to hit mason with a flurry of powerful punches to the face.

Masons regeneration kept the punches from harming him, but their speed kept him from reacting. He eventually had the chance to liquify himself and slip underneath Sole. His body reformed on the other side of the arena few yards away. He wasn't hurt, but he was relieved to have a rest. "Why... would you fight me with those still on?" He demanded. "Were you really so ignorant that you thought you could defeat me without taking them off!?" Two extra appendages formed out of his shoulders with bladed ends. "Wait!" Whiplash shouted as Crimson raced out in a blind rage. She sighed, knowing there was nothing she could do to stop him. Whiplash was angry herself, but she had to be keep herself in check. The Pegasus watched the fight with gritted teeth.

With the restraints off, he felt as light as a feather, and overflowing with energy. But before the blast connected, he began to punch and kick as fast as he could again, resuming his assault. "Lets see how we'll you regenerate from paste!" He said with a grin, before diving down at high speeds, and pointing mason at the ground below.

Instead of breaking off and protecting himself, Mason decided to ensure that both of them would experience pain. He used the tendrils wrapped around Soles body to poke into his ribcage, deliberately missing every vital organ in order to ensure the most possible pain without killing him. This spoiled his chance to escape and guaranteed that he would hit the ground, and he did. When Mason hit the arena floor, he basically exploded on impact, pieces of his body lay in a constrewed mess, littering the newly formed crater they had landed in.

sole roared in pain as the tendrils pierced his ribcage, just as they hit the ground with a boom. He stood shakily and coughed out a lot of blood as he pulled the tendril out, making sure there were no fragments. As he held the wound, he looked around at the pieces of mason "did I win?" He mumbled, but still kept on guard "no... It couldn't have been that easy." He said, as he began to blast the chunks of mason with chaos magic, to disintegrate them.

The pieces grew long, pink tendrils out of their opened muscles and gripped onto one another. The pulled back together quickly in the form of Mason 's body, the missing pieces that Sole destroyed began to grow back, first the muscle reformed, then the skin, revealing that he had no bones within his body. Upon seeing those, Juri backed up off of the stage and covered her mouth in case she threw up. The crowd was silent throughout this process.

 

"Maybe I didn't make you aware of the extent of my powers." Mason said while the left side of his face reformed. "I can recover from any injury, including being ripped apart, even if parts are missing. The only requirement is that at least one small part of me remains. I can regenerate from just a torn piece of flesh! The only way I can die is from complete disintegration." The red energy shield from earlier depredations his body again. "But at this point, that would be impossible. You're body is using most of the energy you have left just to survive those injuries. Its unfortunate that you don't heal like I do. There's no way you'll have enough Strength to defeat me.But I digress, I won't drag this out any longer."

 

He gave out a bloodcurtling scream and five tendrils rerouted from each of his shoulders aimed at various vital points on Soles body.

At that moment, he heard masons battlecry, just as he attacked. With a curse he jumped into the air to avoid it *now would be a good time!* he thought, as he pointed a finger at him "full disintegration huh? Try this on for size then!" He growled, as he shot a large blast of chaos energy at him.

crimson glared at rail but after a moment, he sighed, "I don't care how long you've been playing your cards, it wont matter since sole will win anyway...in the end, just make sure you remember what's important, your pshyco plot or your daughter and innocent lives..." said crimson before exiting the room and returning to whiplash. "sorry about leaving you cutie, but I had someone I had to talk to...he didn't respond how I expected, but hay, at least im feeling better..." said crimson with a sheepish grin.

Whiplash chuckled at Crimson. "Well I'm glad you are. And Crimson.. I'm sorry about Rune," she said sadly. The Pegasus never knew Rune personally, but she knew he turned out to be a good pony. Whiplash glanced at the fight, swallowing back disgust at Mason's moves.

crimson glared at rail but after a moment, he sighed, "I don't care how long you've been playing your cards, it wont matter since sole will win anyway...in the end, just make sure you remember what's important, your pshyco plot or your daughter and innocent lives..." said crimson before exiting the room and returning to whiplash. "sorry about leaving you cutie, but I had someone I had to talk to...he didn't respond how I expected, but hay, at least im feeling better..." said crimson with a sheepish grin.

Radio didn't like the way this fight was going. Sole was on the losing end, and she found that her continued existence required him to stay alive and Mason to be dead. She saw Crimson, and a plan to help him sparked in her mind. She quickly strode over to the pirate, noticing his look, and the fact he was talking to his would-be mare friend. "Crimson, Sole isn't doing to hot. I think we can help him without breaking the rules. Sole uses chaos energy as a form of magic his non-unicorn body can handle. If we create a little bit of chaos, maybe he'll get a little bit more energy. Even if it's just a little, it'll probably be enough."

crimson gave radio a thoughtful look, and shrugged, "well...I guess that wouldn't do any harm...after all, mason isn't exactly the most honorable or fair fighter ever anyway, so if he got the chance to cheat, he would probably do it...but what did you have in mind?" asked crimson, turning to whiplash, "do you think you could lend a hoof? im sure you know how to cause more than a bit of chaos, cutie" said crimson with a grin.

Frost eyes went wide at Masons last statement. "That little coweredess bastard!" he hissed through gritted teeth. "Dammit Sole you big chicken, hit'em hard." he thought clenching his hoof. "Come on this guy has to have a weakness! Find it dammit, FIND IT!" he yelled to himself.

She shakes her head and turns to Crimson and Whiplash. "Just do things the spectators won't expect. Make it rain chocolate milk for all I care. Think about things the lord Discord would like, and complete them quickly and efficiently. That should stir some chaos." In demonstration, her horn flashed and a bench turned into a hotdog. The ponies covered in ketchup, mustard, and relish were very indignant and confused, but otherwise unharmed.

Whiplash laughed and spread out her wings. "Chaos is one of my hobbies," she grinned, motioning towards her tornado cutie mark. The Pegasus nodded at Radio's plan, hoping it would work. "Well, let's get started, shall we?" she said, heading out of the infirmary.

"Give Mason the credit he's due." Said Rail. "What little good that could accomplish will not help Sole enough to win this fight. Look."

Do you really think you ever had a chance?" His shield made a sudden glow. "When I kill you and the Demons come, I will join them as one of their own. As for Crimson and Stone, those kills will be reserved for me in honour of you. So go ahead and waist what little energy you have left! I'd attack you now, but I prefer helplessness. Its much more enjoyable that way."

sole noticed the tendrils at the last moment and barely dodged them. *shit, my speed and reactions are dropping like a rock... Just a little more time.* he thought, as he attempted to build as much possible energy for his transformation. He noticed his friends trying to cause chaos to assist him and cursed "hey, stop that you idiots! I don't need your help, I'm gonna beat him on my own!" He yelled, as he summoned his sword and turned to mason. As he drew the blade, he disappeared, before reappearing behind mason, with his sword covered in blood. "damn... I can't keep this speed up..." He mumbled.

(It would depend on how. Let me put it this way; if he found a gun to last-minute defend himself, he would use it, right? No debts, nothing. If someone offered the gun, he'd refuse. That's how I see it.)

 

"Yes, let's get down to business," she says, matching the grin. Her horn flashed, and suddenly the masses were sitting in the world's first concrete forest, with steel birds for occupants. Each bird had tiny whistles in their beaks that would chirp whenever the wind picked up.

"I believe that's where I come in," she said with a grin, before flitting into the air. She beat her powerful wings, creating huge winds that whistled through the bird's beaks. Disruptive chirps rang through out the entire arena, and Whiplash stroked her wings a few more times before touching back to the ground with a chuckle.

Whiplash laughed as Radio created the steel birds. The pegasus looked closely, and found their whistle mechanisms. "I believe that's where I come in," she said with a grin, before flitting into the air. She beat her powerful wings, creating huge winds that whistled through the bird's beaks. Disruptive chirps rang through out the entire arena, and Whiplash stroked her wings a few more times before touching back to the ground with a chuckle.

"A nice touch," Radio says, grinning as she shifted metal densities around to change the pitches until it started sounding like some of the more recent tunes. "Nothing like a battle theme for Sole." (Go look up some fight music if you want an idea of what it sounds like.)

"Alright, now that's pretty cool," Whiplash grinned, the music ringing throughout the arena. The Pegasus than glanced at Sole. She hoped the chaos they were causing was giving him some sort of boost. Whiplash took out her wind dagger and began to summon a huge wind, manipulating it into the stands. The wind blew on the spectators, ripping food and trash out of their hooves and letting it swirl around, occaisionally splattering against some ponies.

 

Whiplash coudn't help but allow a slight smile.
