Rioulu glanced Oddish and nodded. "Do you think Riolu could be on my team?" She asked, before looking at the three new pokemon and smirked. "Nobody insults my friends, and right now, I consider everyone here as friends, aside from you three." She growled. The young pokemon's hands glowed as she got ready to use force palm. "I can already tell that two of you aren't that strong against me."

Zorua glanced at e three pokemon and growled. "Wait until I'm evolved, then I'll rip you all to shreds." He said. The young fox's claws then extended as he got ready to attack, despidte the fact that he didn't know any attacks that were strong against the new pokemon.

(I condsider Zorua a fox, but correct me if I'm wrong.)

Altaria turned his head to the Aron, and rolled his eyes slightly. His accent sounded a lot like the lead member of Team Hurricane. And the day he liked Team Hurricane, or approved of their reasons for helping pokemon would be the day the hatred in the world finally got to him. Instead of letting himself be pushed around by such a little pokemon, though. Infact, he would treat it with the exact same respect he treated the scary Gastly with. "I'm afraid I am none of those things. But I used to be this town's protector... If you wish to know." Altaria said, bowing slightly.

"Look at dis guy! D'you always walk about wiv a stick up your rear, or izzis just a bad day fer you?" Aron snorted and turned away...

Oddish, seemed to not pick up on the rudeness in the Aron's voice. She bounced over to him casually. "What makes you say that?" Oddish asked, seemingly confused. Not that confusing her was severely hard to do...

...Only to nearly get an Oddish stuck in his face. "Oi! Gerroff! An', since you don't seem to know the basics of makin' a team, I'll tell ya. A good team's got a guardian, a tank, a bruiser, an' two or three gimps. This team's, wot, seven gimps, a tank, an' a guardian? You can see where we're goin' wrong here, eh?"

Three pokemon appeared before the group. Consisting of a Bagon, Poochyena, and Timburr, the Bagon taking the lead of the group. He laughed. "Oi! Lookie who finally made a team! Da Oddish and da 'Wanna-be' dragon!" He spat out. The Poochyena laughed as well. "What? They gunna house all des guys in a tiny shack like that?" The Timburr rolled it's eyes at the other two casually. They didn't seem to notice.

Oddish rolled her eyes at the group. Altaria did the same, with almost the exact same timing. "It's not wise to pick fights with those you are clearly outnumbered by, Hurricane." He said, calmly.

Aron wheeled almost comically and glared at the new arrivals. "Shut yer gob or I'll rip it off!"

Shinx checked the letter again. He was running as fast as he possibly could. He arrived at the right place, seemingly into some kind of confrontation. Unsure of what was going on, he simply listened, hoping this would be resolved so he could join the rescue team. He guessed this was the right place, otherwise he would probably look like a fool.

The Bagon seemed upset by Altaria's words, but said nothing, due to the other pokemon in the group threatening him.

Growlithe jumped and hid behind Altaria when he heard the two pokemon. He always thought it was best to hide behind the most powerful pokemon he was sure he could trust. Well, looks like I should probably trust Altaria and the others then... They'll be able to help me. He thought.

Altaria spread one wing when Growlithe jumped behind him. And... That already wrecked my plan... Great. He thought. Surely there would be something else he could do, though. He'd have to wait for it to come to him.

"Of course!" Oddish said, excitedly, then extended a leaf in front of Riolu's force palm. "But, I don't think there's a reason to fight right now."

((Yep. Tis a fox. Just like da Vulpix and da Fennekin.))

Altaria nodded in agreement to Oddish, and glanced at Zorua, quickly regretting looking at a fierce dark type, and glancing back at Bagon. "No need for fights... Lets end this peacefully."

Aron wheeled almost comically and glared at the new arrivals. "Shut yer gob or I'll rip it off!"

((Ohmigod I love this Aron.))

Oddish looked at Aron puzzlingly again. "I'm not sure what you mean by that." She said, in an almost irritated voice. But, for Oddish, it still sounded somewhat overly chipper.

Bagon and his crew immediately got ready for any attacks. "Oooooh. Looks like da little guis know how to tough talk." Bagon cooed. "Now why don't we just settle des little differences without any attack. Wuld be da neighbourly thing to do." The other two snickered behind him.

Suddenly, Altaria had an idea. An idea he should have thought of sooner. He quickly threw up a Safeguard and the team began to glow a soft green. "Whatzza matter?" The Bagon began again. "Ya so scared that ya gunna protect yurself, Altaria?"

None of the pokemon seemed to notice Shinx. It would be quite easy to sneak attack any of them.

I swear... The minute we have to fight, I'm gonna do something about those guys... I'm not showing anymore fear. Growlithe thought. He was lucky that he knew some decent moves, that way if he needed to fight, he could. Normally he wouldn't be ready to fight anyone, but these pokemon were getting annoying and he had to do something about them.

Shinx ran forwards, then slided between the two groups of pokemon. He then used charge, hoping to not have to attack anyone. If he was lucky it would scare the mean guys, which, upon listening, was Bagon and his group, away. He didn't like to do this, but what else was there to do?

Riolu tensed up, but noticed Oddish. She then nodded. "You know what, you aren't even worth the time." She said, glancing at the three other Pokemon. The young jackal then smiled coyly. "By the way, I'm not scared of anything." Riolu then glanced at Zorua. She would protect him, if the Timbur were to get involved.

Zorua glared at the group and smirked darkly. "I'm not afraid of you, but I won't stoop to your level." He said, before retracting his claws. "You intimidate others to get what you want. Your a disgrace of a rescue team." The fox then walked back and stood next to Riolu. He was trying to impress her, and he meant every word he said.

Mareep had nearly withdrawn into his wool when the new arrivals came. He knew if it came down to it he could thundershock one of the pokemon, but at the moment he didn't see the need in doing anything. He straightened up and put a confident look on his face. He was masking his fear, and he could only hope the charade was working.

Oddish looked at Shinx, a bit surprised, not knowing where it had come from. But, didn't bother questioning it, right now. The safeguard seemed to be affecting them too, so he must have been on their side. (Pls don't question my logic.) Oddish then nodded to Altaria, smirked, and jumped on his head. "Alright. I'm done. Let's attack 'em, guis." Bagon said, readying a Dragon Breath to hit Altaria and Oddish. Whereas Timburr was getting ready to attack with Work Up, and Poochyena was about to charge aimlessly into the group with a Bite attack.

Before any of this could happen, however, Altaria began singing soothing melodies. The pokemon on the side of him were protected by Safeguard, and therefore could not fall asleep. Whereas Bagon, Poochyena and Timburr all fell asleep almost instantly.

"Is that it? That's all we had to do?" Growlithe asked. He hadn't expected it to be that easy to stop the three pokemon. Well, it might have been more fun to fight them, but  that works too I guess... He thought. They had annoyed him to the point of him wanting to just attack them, but putting them to sleep worked just as well.

Riolu smirked as the three pokemon fell asleep. She then glanced at Altaria and gave the dragon her equivalent of a thumbs up. "Well, now that these jerks are taken care of, we should probably leave." She said. The Riolu then glanced at the now sleeping Pokémon and smiled evily. "Does anyone have a marker?"

Mareep sighed heavily, happy he had avoided confrontation with these ponies. He looked quietly around at the rest of the group, sizing up the others. Several, if not all, of them looked much stronger than him. He then looked at Oddish and mumbled, "Um... what now?"

Well, it might have been more fun to fight them, but  that works too I guess... He thought. They had annoyed him to the point of him wanting to just attack them, but putting them to sleep worked just as well.

"Mhm!" Oddish said, bouncing off of Altaria. "Not that it's perfect. They might wake up at any second! We'll have to go away if we really want to avoid any conflict... As Riolu said." Oddish, who seemed to be thinking of everything on the spot at this point, had no clue where they could away. She would have to think for a second. And, literally a second.

Altaria shook his head at Riolu's question. "I don't think that would be the wisest thing to do. I'll deal with them later, and don't you worry. They shouldn't upset us again." Altaria said, humming softly at the end of his sentence.

((Who used Safeguard?))

Mareep sighed heavily, happy he had avoided confrontation with these ponies. He looked quietly around at the rest of the group, sizing up the others. Several, if not all, of them looked much stronger than him. He then looked at Oddish and mumbled, "Um... what now?"

((Altaria, quite a few posts ago. I don't blame you if you missed it. Also, please direct yourself to Riolu's post for the answer to Mareep's question at what not. :P))

"...Or that could 'appen. That woz... at the same time the most well-done an' outright stupid ting I've ever seen." Aron looked to Altaria. "Obviously yer the one competent bloke 'ere."

"Perhaps..." Altaria said, in slight distaste. This pokemon really didn't belong in a rescue team. "Oddish. Have you chosen where to go?" He asked Oddish, directing his attention to her.

Oddish nodded. "Mhm!" She said, bouncing around again. "Since, I think everyone's here, we could go to a mystery dungeon! I'll think of the teams on the way there." She stopped bouncing for a second. "I hope everyone's ok with that! I mean, if it isn't you could always leave..." The nearest mystery dungeon was super close. Right on Paradise, actually! Not only that, but it was pretty short as well. Only two floors, if she remembered correctly. And since Altaria would not be coming, there would be two even teams of four.

"Alrighty! Let's go! Follow me, everyone." Oddish said, bounding off in the random direction that lead to the mystery dungeon.

Riolu frowne, but nodded. "You're probably right, though it would be pretty funny to see the looks on their faces when they woke up." She said."Don't worry, we'll keep Oddish safe." The young Riolu then grabbed Zorua and ran after the Weed Pokémon. "Come on, Zorua. We don't want to be the last one's there, do we?"

Gastly let out a long sigh and followed the Oddish. After all, she didn't want to be left alone, even if she wasn't entirely sure about the intentions of the other Pokemon in the group. The thought of going into a mystery dungeon made Gastly anxious, not because of the mystery dungeon itself, but because working in a team felt wrong somehow. Regardless, Gastly followed the small Pokemon.

Aron chuckled. "Candyland, most likely." He walked over to the edge of the group, away from the old fuddy-duddy and his brainless accomplice. He'd no idea how he'd been roped into this, but he found solace in the fact that this was probably going to be the most short-lived rescue team in history.

Growlithe followed the group for two reasons. One, they were the few pokemon he could trust, not counting Aron, and two, he wanted to get as far away from those evil pokemon as he could. Please tell me we're going to do something safe now... He thought to himself.

Upon arrival to the Mystery Dungeon, a quick task considering how close it was to where they were before, Oddish spun around to look at the recruits. The entrance to the dungeon, appeared no more than a cave. There was no light whatsoever shining in it, so it was impossible to see what could be in there. "This is the Mystery Dungeon I was talking about! It's super short and easy to go through, so it would be great for seeing how good of a battler all of you are." Oddish began. As she spoke, a soft yellow light flickered before the entrance to the dungeon, then vanished quickly. Oddish was completely oblivious to this, of course.

"Now. We'll be going in teams of four. These teams will most likely change at some point, though." Oddish continued, pacing in front of the entrance slightly. "These teams will be..."

Team One

(Riolu),  (Growlithe),  (Zorua), and @aRegularPony (Shinx)

Team Two

(Oddish), @Harmonic Revelations (Gastly), (Aron), and (Mareep)

This is subject to change based on activity, character strength and character personality. The teams are meant to be somewhat even in all of this.

"I hope that's good for everyone!" The small grass type continued. "You can enter whenever you're ready, and each team will need to reach the top. So good luck and make sure to have fun!" Oddish bounced over to where Mareep was, being quite fond of it's wool at this point. Plus, she wanted to see to it no one was left behind.

Zorua smiled slightly and blushed as he was dragged by Riolu. He then shook his head to clear his thoughts and ran beside her. He then heard that he was on the same team as her and smiled. "I hope I'm good enough." He thought to himself. The young fox then glanced at Riolu, trying to hide a blush.

Yes! I get to be on a team with Zorua and Riolu! Growlithe thought. He didn't know why, but he had hoped to be on a team with those two at least. Why do I want to be on their team anyway? He wondered. He ignored it at the time, and just walked over to his other team members.

Growlithe didn't say anything, far too timid to talk. He may have liked having Riolu on the team, but he was still too shy to say anything to her. Come on... Say something, this is why other pokemon find you weird. His mind told him. He ignored it of course and remained silent.
