Shinx ran over and sat next to his group, not sure what to talk about. He had to say something, though. How could they become friends if he didn't even talk. "So, anyone here been in a mystery dungeon before now?" He was excited for being able to experience a dungeon in a team. The last two times he had been alone. And, they hadn't gone too well.

Riolu smiled slightly at Growlithe. "It's ok. There's no reason to be afraid of me." She said. The young Pokémon then glanced at Shinx and shrugged. "I explored the caves near my home when I was younger, so I have some experience. I doubt that the cave's will be the same as a mystery dungeon, though.

Then he turned to Shinx and said, "I haven't really been in any mystery dungeons... I was in one once, but that's it..." He had been in one mystery dungeon, and it hadn't ended well for him.

Gastly just sat there emotionless.

 

"Well, if I have to have a team for this, at least appears I have a decent one" she thought to herself. Going into a mystery dungeon is not something that makes her nervous in itself, what worries her is the risk of her party members getting hurt.

 

"Well, now is as good a time as any to head in." she said, prepping herself for what lied ahead.

Mareep sighed as the Oddish assigned the teams. He was with that Aron fellow, who kind of scared him. Oddish would probably jump into his wool a lot. And he hadn't really seen the Gastly up until this point. Hopefully she was friendly, or Mareep would have become a nervous wreck.

Zorua smiled slightly and blushed as he was dragged by Riolu. He then shook his head to clear his thoughts and ran beside her. He then heard that he was on the same team as her and smiled. "I hope I'm good enough." He thought to himself. The young fox then glanced at Riolu, trying to hide a blush.

 

Yes! I get to be on a team with Zorua and Riolu! Growlithe thought. He didn't know why, but he had hoped to be on a team with those two at least. Why do I want to be on their team anyway? He wondered. He ignored it at the time, and just walked over to his other team members.

 

Riolu smiled as she heard that she was on the same team as Zorua, and tried to hide a blush. She then glanced the fox and nodded. "This should be fun." She said. Riolu then glanced at Growlithe and smiled. "Hey, you must be Growlithe. I never really got to met you earlier, what with those other three pokemon." The young Pokémon then laughed slightly.

 

Growlithe didn't say anything, far too timid to talk. He may have liked having Riolu on the team, but he was still too shy to say anything to her. Come on... Say something, this is why other pokemon find you weird. His mind told him. He ignored it of course and remained silent.

"I think we can enter whenever everyone is ready..." Oddish said. "So... is everyone?" She asked, spinning around to survey her team. She might have to carry this team herself, and do allll the work. Which would be fine, of course. But, what about Aron? She had a feeling he was more bark then bite, but... if he was good, it would be a great chance to impress him.

Ya see somet'in, call 'er out." Aron turned to Mareep. "You 'ead in next. Zap anyt'in wot's not in the group. I want them bovvered an' confused." He wheeled to face Oddish. "An' you..." Aron paused, obviously thinking. "Wot d'you do, anyways? Outside bein' a bovver an' a mook."

Plus then I can maybe change the teams later, a bit easier!" She continued, beginning to bounce again. This Aron was beginning to get on her nerves, but hopefully no one was noticing that.

"Hmmm... I'm not sure what you mean." Oddish began, freezing for a second. "But I think everyone should just do what they want! It's soooo much more fun that way. Plus then I can maybe change the teams later, a bit easier!" She continued, beginning to bounce again. This Aron was beginning to get on her nerves, but hopefully no one was noticing that.

Gastly rolled her eyes at the Aron's commands.

 

"I'm going to have to agree with Oddish on this one. We all have our own adventuring methods and strategies" Gastly said. She did not at all like this Aron's bossy and confident nature.

 

"I'm going to scout ahead. I'm going to passively suggest we stick together, but it's not my decision." Gastly exclaimed.

I-if that's alright with you guys..." Mareep hated taking initiative in a situation. More often than not he was put down for his suggestions, so he was always hesitant with suggesting strategies.

She was starting to get excited. "So, since everyone is fine now, let's just go in!" She added, leaping to the entrance of the Mystery Dungeon.

Lucario smiled slightly,grabbed Zorua,and followed Oddish. "This could be fun." She thought. The young pokemon then glanced back at Zorua and blushed. "I'll have to do a lot to impress him, especially with so many other pokemon around." Riolu then blushed slightly.

Zorua blushed as he and Riolu entered the dungeon. He then stood on the ground and glanced at his new friend. "If you know any moves that inflict a statue condition, then that'll leave them open for me to attack." The fox then shrugged slightly and smiled.

Growlithe turned to Shinx, seeing as they were the only two on their team who hadn't entered the dungeon yet. "Well, we should probably follow them, don't wanna fall behind." He said. He didn't even notice the fact that he wasn't shy at all around Shinx even though he was around any other Pokemon.

Riolu nodded and smiled. "That seems like a good idea." She said. "I know a few useful moves, and I can also inflict some damage, as well." She said, as the two walked through the dungeon. She felt weird, and decided to start a conversation. "So, do you have someone special in your heart." Riolu then mentally slapped herself at the question she just asked.

The four arrived in the dungeon without a problem. Oddish had seemed to disappear  even though she had entered right before them. How odd. But, the four of them were close together, so they were safe. There were no wild pokemon around, but it seemed the pokemon in the area consisted of mostly Gothia and Hoppip. There were a few Wurmple too. The four were in a large room, with a lake in the middle. Nothing else. Two corridors winded around the dungeon, one to the left, and one to the right.

 

Today, it appears that Electricity move power has strengthened, and Poison's has weakened. This might change tomorrow.

Getting impatient, Gastly decided to head in first. However, she immediately regretted that decision when she remembered how dangerous Mystery Dungeons could actually be. Gastly is unsure why she is feeling so nervous, especially since this seems like it would be easy.

 

"Is anybody there?" She called out to her team.

Oddish, being the only other member of Gastly's team in the dungeon already, was almost directly behind Gastly. In a very high pitched voice she said "Yup!" And jumped over Gastly's head and in front of her. Oddish had seemingly forgotten about her idea of waiting to enter the dungeon til everyone else had. Oh well.
