Buckbury Hall

Description
You have been invited to a party! (Funny how often that happens in Equestria, isn't it?) A formal gathering hosted by the less-than-formal Scribe Shield to celebrate being reunited with his missing sister.

Strangely enough though, the invites seem to have gone out to guests that neither of them have met before as well as the intended addressees. What is more, the venue has been provided free of charge by an anonymous benefactor claiming to wish to remain unnamed.

The venue in question - Buckbury Hall - has remained abandoned for several years, just on the outskirts of the city. It boasts everything and everything that could be desired by its guests but with one small, unknown twist: once night falls, the doors will lock and not open until the mysteries of the building are discovered.

Rules

• No Alicorns
• Try to keep other races to a minimum.
• Romance allowed, even encouraged, just don't go into detail on 'that kind of stuff'. PG-13 folks!
• Godmodding = bad.
• Mary Sues = even worse.
• Please try to write in third person and use correct grammar: I'm not asking for Shakespeare but just something readable.

I would like to join this RP, but I can not put up a link to my OC due to the fact that my PC is fried. My OC is Frost Typhoon if that helps at all. Plus what is SoL? I see it everywhere and I don't know what it is

SoL - Slice of Life. Just means an everyday situation RP.

 

I'll check characters when I'm not at work on my phone, though I think I already know Fire Sharp and Frost so there shouldn't be any problems.

Do you mind if Tempest and Ivy join? They're married, but that doesn't mean that they can't help somepony start a relationship. If this doesn't work, then they won't be married in the RP.

I think Swift Quill is doing something very similar to that idea. I would know cuz I'm in it It's an RP where romance isn't mandatory, but it kind of is at the same time.

Well, it's not as many folks as I would have hoped but interest seems to have died down so I'm considering starting this rolling: keeping applications open while the doors are open.

I think 9 is a good number, maybe it's a small party. I know the only parties I go to only have like 5 people in them

RP thread is up: applications are still open until the doors close - from there, the number of players will steer the direction of the RP somewhat.
