Can you draw my OC Selune Darkeye? Link in the signature with lots of reference pics. I have three possible things you could do.

1) I could use a nightmare night styled picture with the "Eye" concept in it please. 
2)You could draw a humanoid version of her
3)Or a genderswapped version of her.

I would really like her to be like winking in what you do, with both eyes visible if possible. Maybe make her beautiful/hot but you know... not "that" kind of hot. I am not interested in r34 theme.

Anyway, I figure it's about time I came back for another request, if you'll allow me!

 

Since it seems you are now allowing group pics, I can finally request a few (over time, of course) that I've been wanting for a while. But, seeing as you drew Carmus already, and the first group pic that pops to mind is him and Spitfire, I think I'll leave that one off for a while. 

But I do have another character(technically two) that I think I'd like to see a group pic of. His name is Saronyx. And through reading his page, you'll see he is an acknowledgement to the multiverse. 

 

The thing I'd like to request, is a picture of him, the Crystal Stallion variant, interacting with Serenity, his female counterpart from an alternate reality. Think of them as kinda like the Lutece Twins from Bioshock Infinite, which is who they are partially inspired by (Saronyx/Serenity's Visionary powers are based off the Tears, in a way)

 

But anyway, you can read about Saronyx and the way he looks, in that page there (to specify, his mane is kinda like Big Mac's in style, and his tail is styled kinda like Soarin's. Serenity looks practically the same in color palette, only just the fact that she's... well, you know. A mare. And if you want, you can Saron and Seren (those nicknames may or may not be why I named Serenity what I did) as any pony race you want, (Crystal, Unicorn, Earth, Pegasus etc.), considering they are multiverse acknowledgments.

 

As for Seren's personality, she is just about the opposite of Saronyx. While he is polite, Seren is sarcastic. Where Saron is fairly straightforward in his explanations, Serenity is vague and likes to 'weave circles' to confuse the one she is explaining to. And where Saronyx prefers not to get into a fight should he be able to help it, Serenity has no qualms in doing so. Kind of ironic, considering her name means 'calm'. Despite this, there are occasions where they will act perfectly the same as one another, even going so far as to finish the other's sentences. 

 

For their stances, I think I might leave that up to you again. To give you some options though, I imagine either Saronyx looking as if he was trying to explain something to, while Serenity is just not paying attention, perhaps looking at the viewer with a surprised or a 'the heck're you lookin' at?' kind of expression, with Saronyx looking frustrated with her. Or instead of Seren looking at the viewer, just her pointing at it and arguing with Saronyx (probably about the existence of a rift looking to us, that for some reason she can see, but he cannot)

 

Or, going with the fact that it is nearly being Halloween (despite not really celebrating the holiday myself), perhaps have the two of them in one of their rare, in tandem moments, dressed as the Lutece Twins in this iconic Bioshock Infinite screenshot. Or just dressed as the Lutece Twins.

 

 

Like I said, it's up to you how you want to draw them. So it can be one of those, or anything else you can come up with.

 

And because it's the way I operate: As mentioned in the page, Saronyx can look through rifts into any other alternate reality. On occasion, he'll find a version of himself that bears the same ability. Serenity was the first female version of himself he'd ever seen, and was also the first to possess the Visionary ability that could actually see and talk to him. For the sake of this picture, they were able to step through the rifts and actually interact with each other.

 

Just to reiterate the obvious, Saron and Seren are ponies - of a race of your choice - and it is a group pic. I have plenty more for you in the future, come a time when I can request them. I look forward to seeing what you can come up with! If any other info is really needed, just let me know and I'll compensate.

@, phew, glad you like, I had absolutely no idea how to draw a dragon and I couldn't get her into a good position to be stroking his head without obscuring his face or having her behind him and being obscured from view from the waist down.

 

@@00Pony, TLDR lol but seriously I'll take some time to study your request once I'm more awake (It's 6am here and I can't sleep, and I have work in two hours) It was fun working with Carmus and although I think multiverses are lazy it shouldn't affect my drawing ability.

What kind of "experimental" pieces are we talking about?

 

Well, just that really, I'm still very much a beginner when it comes to art and I want to try a little of everything. I test the waters with different art styles, drawing techniques, subjects and themes. Recently I've been teaching myself human anatomy so I've been drawing nudes as well as bone and muscle structures. I'd also like to try things like iconic fashions, videogame art, studies into lighting techniques and learning how to draw hair realistically.

 

So, yeah, I pretty much mean anything and everything that I have an interest in or need to practise.

Howdy, sugarcubes! Today I made something special for y’all.

 

It’s not always hard work at Sweet Apple Acres, sometimes you just have to take an afternoon off to feel the wind in your mane and enjoy the sunset.

 

Well here is an updated version of Pomme Derriere. I took some time to draw a full background and it turned out rather well.

 

I will say, however that I’m not 100% on my shading of Applejack, mainly because I used an adjustment layer to add a coloured shadow rather than simply cross-hatching like I always do but I’ll let you guys be the judge.

 

So feel free to comment if you like/dislike it and I shall strive to do even better in future!

My latest musing. This time I spent a lot longer shading, really trying to cover the entire frame so that the volume came across to make it pop out and seem more like a 3d image than a flat two-dimensional sketch.

I still need a great deal more practise and I feel the anthropomorphism may have been slightly off here, perhaps I should have added hands and feet, what do you guys think?
