Courageous Thunder Dash 7,824 September 16, 2013 Share September 16, 2013 Well, since there are quite a few threads sharing collections such as knives, funs and computers, why not start a thread sharing what kind of guitar(s) you've got. Also, include amp and pedals if you've got those too. For me: I've got a little First Act Jr. Acoustic Guitar. I want to upgrade to a bigger one though. I also have an Epiphone SG Special. Looks like this: That runs into a BOSS RT20: ...Into a Line 6 Spider IV 75-watt amp. One of the best amps out there. Over 250 presets, 7 different levels of distortion, over 11 sound effects, loop control and memory channels to save your custom tones! PlunderSteed 1,252 September 16, 2013 Share September 16, 2013 I have a few, but my favorite guitar is my Ibanez S7420. It's my first 7-string, and it's a solid piece of equipment. And sexy, to boot. Most of my work uses the trusty DigiTech RP-1000 too. It's flexible enough to do what I need done, and simple enough to make it fairly painless: My musical style is I guess what you could call "very heavy grunge". Droning harmonies, unusual time signatures and blast beats. Something like a cross between Alice in Chains and Fear Factory. Other influences include the Toadies, Slipknot and Mudvayne. 1 Regards, PlunderSteed Bassist, pianist, and backing vocalist for MLP-themed metal band Draconequus. Avatar tag: shipping 299 September 16, 2013 Share September 16, 2013 I'm surprised something like this hasn't popped up before. Well, here goes. I have 6 or so guitars so I won't put up pics if all of them. The post would be way too long! I have a Strat knockoff that was my first guitar, an Epi Les Paul, an Epi SG I put a bigsby on, an old Kingston semi hollow, and an Ibanez acoustic in the rack. This is my main setup though: Gibson Les Paul Studio Hooked up to a Fender M-80 Chorus Half Stack That's the best pic I could find if the amp. 2 Sig by the one and only Doc Volt! Throwaway19573639385 764 September 16, 2013 Share September 16, 2013 (edited) From the left to the right: - An acoustic Aria guitar, don't know which one. Sounds good even after all these years. It's equipped with nylon and steel strings. - Cimar, basically a rip-off from Ibanez, my first guitar, sounds pretty mediocre but it was a great tool for learning the basics. - Golden Ton tube amplifier, sounds wonderful and the beast can easily be used for small concerts. Pretty heavy. - NuX multi-effects pedal, sounds pretty cheap but it's good enough for home. Don't really need a lot of different effects when I'm playing at home. - Second electric guitar over there is a LTD EC-50 with ESP pickups. I use it mostly for metal. Been using this guitar for almost 6 years now. For recording I use this little thing here: It's Line6's GuitarPort. I run it through Guitar Rig and record from there. Besides those things I've got plenty of other pedals and a Micro Cube, but it's not anything that's really worth checking out. DusK 1,264 September 16, 2013 Share September 16, 2013 I have a Schecter C1+ guitar with an EMG 81 in the bridge and an EMG 85 in the neck. I keep it loaded with Ernie Ball Skinny Top-Heavy Bottom strings and play with .88 mm picks.I also have an Ibanez SGE220-CS acoustic-electric guitar. I also have a Squire P-Bass. I use 1mm picks when playing that.I also have two retired guitars; some old starter Yamaha, and an Ibanez Gio. I sold my amp a while ago to make ends meet, but I haven't done any live shows in a while, so I didn't have a use for it. All of my recording is handled through a POD Studio UX1, POD Farm 2, and FL Studio's Edison plugin. I'm taking new pictures soonish, so I'll update this post when I have 'em.

CloudsdaleCompanion 342 September 16, 2013 Share September 16, 2013 Was that the model Slash uses? Honestly, I have no idea. And I've seen those tiny little amps. The mid range is way to high for me, because of it's size. If I remember correctly, that amp's got overdrive right? The Mustand I is compact, light and very easy to carry around. And yes, it has overdrive. It comes with quite a number of presets and you can create your own unique effects with the software that is included. From my experience it is good enough for concerts in Gyms and similar places. Just call me CC Lost in Everfree

Broseph 215 September 17, 2013 Share September 17, 2013 Well.. I own two guitars.. Which I've named.. I'm sad that way The first is a white Mexican Fender Strat, which I named 'Junior' for some reason. The other is a cherry red Epiphone SG G-400, which I named 'Clifford'.. I wanted a black one, but I also like red. And I just have a simple Marshall amp.. Marshall is my favourite brand of amps so there you go. 1 Have a nice cold pint, and wait for all this to blow over..

GhostPony750 959 December 27, 2013 Share December 27, 2013 I'll do an update since I got new stuff And finally, FINALLY I can post that post lol, I had issues with copy-pasting. So let's start with me electric guitars first, then accoustic and bass. This one, my father bought it for me one year ago. It was the first guitar I really practiced on. So I consider it my first guitar. It's a Fender Squier Bullet Strat, the affordable but decent quality guitar for begginers. Mine have a little imperfection; the smallest chord is way too close to the border, so sometimes it get off of the fretboard. :/ This one, I just got it for christmas. One day, waiting for my guitar lessons, I was checking all the guitars around, because I was looking for a new guitar. And I see dat one. It's the first time I've ever felt attracted by a guitar so much, it was calling me literally. So I check it; awesome. I asked money for christmas, so I could buy that guitar (450$ used), but instead, I've been surprised to received that guitar for christmas. (It's a Godin SD with a special finish) So time to see those accoustic guitars: This one, my father received it as a gift over 30 years ago. It's my first guitar, and it's really bad. The chords are far away from the fretboard, it's hard to play with, there is a knob for a strap at the bottom, but not on the top (seriously xD). This is a Fiesta guitar, a cheap ripoff of a Fender I guess. But this brand... I did some researches on it, and only 5 guitars of this brand are known to exist. 4 electric and I have the only one accoustic. We have no idea of this brand's history, except that they were built in Korea (thanks to a miraculous sticker on mine). And the sound of this cheap thing is simply amazing, seriously. Anyway, if you have any info on this it would be appreciated! For more pictures of these guitars, go here: http://www.tdpri.com/forum/guitar-owners-clubs/194141-fiesta-guitars-not-fiesta-red-guitars.html (I posted mine at the bottom of the page) And now my great Fender Sonoran, a special edition; only 300 were built, and for a good reason: Ford Mustang 45th anniversary. My father actually won that guitar at a Mustang show, and gave it to me after some times. It's really great, and very beautiful. But sadly very fragile lol. A scratch is like a neon in the dark. This is by far my favorite guitar. And finally, my bass. It's a Fender Squier Jazz Bass (I just started lol). At the store, I was seeing black, blue, white, red basses everywhere, and these colors are too common. So I decided to pick that funny looking one, an exclusive color. So this is all my stuff (Le huge post lol)
