Cirrus. 1,093 October 21, 2020 Share October 21, 2020 I live 11 miles from my work, so my commute is about 25-30 minutes. On a crappy winter day it can take an hour or more. Splashee 28,601 October 21, 2020 Share October 21, 2020 Our neighbor town had to close down their main road to the capital. Which caused everyone to have to reroute the traffic. I have never seen so much bickering over "nothing" in their Facebook group! So what was it about, and how did it affect people there? I had to visit the town to receive a package. When driving there, the only road 8the back road, the long way around), I constantly got overtaken by speedy maniacs, doing everything to get home, to deal with their anger issues. But on the way back, it had gotten dark, and the bus didn't drive into the town itself, so there were people, walking with strollers, in the dark, in the middle of the road, having to jump off into the ditch as crazy cars were not seeing them. Absolute mess! Thank god people are people, always bickering, always unsatisfied. So our bus situation is great!
SparklingSwirls 21,606 October 22, 2020 Share October 22, 2020 I don't have a commute since I have to do school and my internship remotely. I'm applying for in-person jobs though, one of which is kinda far out and would be an hour commute on the bus/metro. Won't have anything else to do over winter break though so it's no loss. Ideally I'd like to be able to bike to work! Some exercise is a great way to get refreshed for the day and then after work it'll help you wind down at home. ֍֎֍֎

Sonic Shimmer 4,141 October 23, 2020 Share October 23, 2020 I've been working from home since March. Usually it would be a 50-60 minute commute by train. Friendship isn't always easy. Fluttershyfan94 5,749 October 24, 2020 Share October 24, 2020 Well by car of course, typically has been around 60 minutes currently I mean roughly 20 minutes. I typically would prefer shorter distances yet living out in the country most things would be a considerable distance. 1 DA: http://fluttershyfan94.deviantart.com/ Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/user/Fluttershyfan94
DixonTheAdversary 1,638 November 8, 2020 Share November 8, 2020 It only takes me like 5 minutes or so to get to work, depending upon how I hit the stoplights.
Clawdeen 25,231 January 2, 2021 Share January 2, 2021 That depends. When the weather is fine I can take the back roads and be at work in like 10-15 minutes. If the weather is bad I gotta take the long way through town. All the traffic lights and now they’ve torn up the main roads with construction...it takes a half hour or over just getting through that mess. It’s bad. 1 *Cult Classic But I Still Pop* *Tonight I'll Be Crooked* *I'm Just Livin That Life*
