Ten looked at his hooves. There was blood on them. He brought his working leg up to his mouth and coughed again, more blood this time. <Not good. Not good at all!> Ten wasn't panicking though, for some reason he felt very calm. He continued his loud, racking coughs, hcking up more blood with each one.

Great. Now Shadow's gone and hurt ANOTHER pony, and Discord's winning. Marvellous.

"Want some painkillers?" she asked Ten, kneeling next to him. "I know how much it hurts."

When he coughed blood however, she stood up. Oh no, oh no!

"RIZA!" she screamed.

"You allright mate? You look a bit shaken"

Ten looked up at Rain. "No... I need... A healer... Before... I bleed out..." He was swimming in and out of consiousness.

 

*Riza walked up to Ten. She quickly got out several bottles filled with different liquids and a few rolls of bandages*

"You are NOT ALLOWED TO DIE!!!"

*Riza dabbed some of the liquid in one of the bottles onto a bandage and pressed them against Ten's open wounds. She did this for all of the open wounds and then wrapped them tightly in bandages. She then began to examine the body further.*

"Several dislocated joints. Grit your teeth Ten."

*She began setting the joints, popping them back into place.*

"One last thing."

*Riza took one of the last bottles she had brought over and opened it up.*

"Drink this. Slowly."

*Riza lifted Ten so that he wouldn't choke and put the bottle to his lips and began to pour it into his mouth.*

Ten nearly gagged at the taste of the liquid, but did as Riza said and gulped it down. When he was done he groaned. His body and his emotions were both hurting.

Rain carefully stepped away. She needed some time alone to think about what was going on. Oh wait, I can't think, she smirked.

With a sigh she plopped down on her sleeping bag inside her tent and looked at the ceiling. She felt so alone and useless. All she'd done so far was get other ponies in danger.

There's gotta be some way I can fix this, she thought, and as she rolled over something fell on her head.

The journal!

Yes!

She cracked it open, settling down.

This is the adventure journal of Sturdy Saddle on the quest to find the missing ponies.

Ten, comforted by Riza, fell asleep. He was emotionally and physically drained. His dreams were happy; he was flying with his parents across equestria, without a care in the world. A single tear rolled down his face as he smiled in his sleep.

"Nopony asked for you, nopony likes you!" rains words began to repeat in his head, he smiled "Good if they dont like me, im not there friend, therefor im not dependant on them, so im not weak. And now discord cant touch me."

The journal had 30 entries, 1 for each day, the firt entry read

 

"well this is the first day of the little rescue effort for a few ponies that went missing a few days ago, the reason I am writing this so invade something happens to us somebody can find out happens, or so I can make a best selling book"

Strurdy saddle, a very strong earth pony, a very reliable guy, says he came from trotting ham a few years ago

Fiddle sticks, a sophisticated unicorn and a damn fine violinist

Iron heart, the strongest Pegasus I have ever seen, stronger than some farmer ponies I know, he's also very kind

Sweet cheeks, a very quite mare, though good with medicine, she'd make a fine love interest for my book

Rain storm, a very grim unicorn, very dark and depressing, he needs to get laid

Then there's me, colt revo, the best archer in all of equestria!"
