So what is Sweetie Bot's story?

This looks like a good place to start looking for answers. I occasionally get interested in the origins of fandom characters and I haven't been quite able to find answers yet.

Do any of you know how this whole "Sweetie Bot" thing started?

Sweetie bit originally started in the abridged series friendship is witchcraft. She was made due to Cheerilee mentioning how bad they can be if they become self aware, and I assume the creators if FIW saw sweetie belle as the best character to be a robot due to her actions in the show

People think that Sweetie Belle is a soul-less evil thing. Mainly because of her extreme happiness. Personally, I find her happiness at most times refreshing. I mean, you see somepony who finds joy and happiness in recent days. Not that these days are sad, but people find the smallest reasons to act like recent days are "sad and depressing".

The My Little Pony parody known as Friendship is Witchcraft, Episodes 5 and 9. Whether Sweetie Bot originated from there or was simply made famous due to FiW, I have no idea. I wasn't around back then.

It came from Friendship is Magic, a youtube series that is basically a group of people who re-dubbed certain episodes of MLP. Basically, Twilight is a witch who is trying to learn magic. Pinkie Pie is considered a gypsy, Flutttershy is trying to end the world, RArity is a war vetern, and Sweetie Bell is a robot.

I dunnoooo, the .MOV series is legendary. SHED.MOV is my personal favorite. Stay outta my sheeeddd. But yeah, FIW definitely has some if the best fan made songs

I've only watched one of the .MOV series, I'll have to finish the series at least. PONY.MOV wasn't all that impressive, but it was KINDA funny, I guess.

Personally, I think that Rainbow Dash Presents is the best fan-made series of all-time. It is made with some great drawings and what not, but they also made the mentally advanced series. They are both the best.

I don't know, Camaraderie Is Supernatural is far better IMO, I just wish they'd actually keep going instead of just throwing one out here and there with long gaps in between.

Yea, people often wonder when they see someone really happy because that's quite rare, so they tend to think it's not a real behaviour but more like a freak or fake behaviour.
