Here's a question to think about: You as a pony

Here's a question that I thought up a little while back, I'm guessing I'm not the first person to come up with this as it's a pretty obvious question, but anyway here it is:

If you had the chance to live in equestria as a pony of your choice (must be OC not somepony from the show) would you take up the offer?

However there are a few conditions.

1. 100% of the knowlage you learned of the show has hapened and is 100% accurate, how-ever fan-fics and other non-official material may not me entirely true how ever some material may be close to or accurate to events in equestria

3. No-one in the human world will know your gone, it will be like you never existed there in the first place

4. You get to choose everthing about your self before you become a pony and enter equestria (Age, Sex, Colour, Pony type (earth, pegasus, unicorn), Sexual Preference, Whether or not you have knowlage of being human ect.)

5. If you have a talent in the human world (art, music, sport ect.) you will have a cutie mark of the appropriate field, how-ever if you still havent found your talent you will be a blank flank and will have to find your cutie mark as a pony.

6. There's no going back.

 

All these details must be included in your answer, feel free to add any other details you would like to.

 

 

Me personally, I would probery go for it, iv'e never really felt like i belong so i might as well go for it. I would like to know all the knowlage i knew from the human world such as who all the background ponies are (vinyl, octavia, derpy ect.) which ponies iv'e crushed on, music ect.

I would have a dark grey coat with a purple and black mane in a similar style to rainbow dash, i'm not too sure about gender at this moment in time, im a guy irl and im happy with that but if always been curious of what being female might be like, either way i would be into mares (since you are a pony now even if you wernt before your now attracted to ponies), i would be roughly the same age as the mane 6, i would be a pegasus, i would be a blank flank as im still unsure of my talent.

 

So thats my answer, its proberly not the best but im looking forward to what you guys say

I'd take up the offer of being in Equestria as long as I'm a young dragon or even a Griffin. I wouldn't feel a part of pony society but that's fine.

I probably wouldn't go, mainly for reasons most others have already stated, and I don't really want to have to choose a race to be...I feel that the mere fact people choose races such as pegasi and unicorns just shows how unfair and unequal these races are by our standards. And its our human standards that are integrated into the show via the human creators, so I dont really want to have to be anything like that. For example, I'd never truly feel happy as a pegasus if there exist earth and unicorn ponies that instinctively want to fly, yet cant due to plain bad luck. A concept barely addressed in the show.

Seeing as my life is boring as all hell, would I want to leave this world forever to be in Equestria? Absolutely. I'd want to retain my skills and my tall (by pony measure) body shape, of course, and definitely go for a different appearance. Now comes the tough part. I can't decide whether I'd be a pegasus or a unicorn. I'd LIKE the freedom to fly, but my talents aren't...exactly suited to hooves. My talents in the human world revolve around my ability to repair technology and mathematical contemplation.

 

If I was a unicorn, I would be able to easily hold a screwdriver, a pair of wire cutters, and interface with the things I'm trying to repair. In that sense, as a unicorn, I could easily see my cutie mark being a screwdriver and a pair of wire cutters crossed over a split cable, revealing the wires inside the shielding.

 

It...really doesn't seem to work for a pegasus, unless I was REALLY skilled at maneuvering a screwdriver in my mouth, likewise with some wire cutters. In the case of a pegasus, as I love freedom of movement, I'd probably have to rescind my technical knowledge to be a blank flank until I found my true calling, be it weather control or something else. I'd probably choose to be a pegasus over a unicorn regardless, because a horn....kind of makes it hard to wear hats. ^^;

 

Appearance-wise, I'd say I'd have a white, maybe a very light gray coat, with a long, edgy frost blue mane/tail. On another note, if I had the chance to retain ONE item of clothing from my time in the human world, no matter how out of context it would be in Equestria, I would want my Carolina Panthers hat with all the pony pins on it, as well as the other ones from my past. Sure, nopony would know what the Principality of Zeon is, but that wouldn't stop me from having the symbol to keep with me. I'd also prefer that my vision impairments would be gone, so no more glasses for me in Equestria. Full-on 20/20 eyesight would be a gift.
