@Descant,   Evergreen is very well done and detailed no issues what-so-ever. I do see it is the same as when you first submitted her, back when Descant was called 'Descant' and not Encore. Him and Rag and Tag are still in it, but see as they don't really cause any issues it doesn't matter. Approved

I would suggest going for another House, so House Everfree would probably be a good place to consider.

 

We have now reached five characters in House Earthborn, so unless my storyteller of the House disagrees I feel we should close it for now.

 

I've also updated the OP for all the characters that have been given a first approval, though I thinking I'm missing a couple. When I have something more than my phone I'll give a quick look through and out on the second approval. Just know that since Anonbrony has been my unofficial/official Bio Approver I likely won't have anything more than ever few small considerations and edits to add.

We do need to give the other Houses some love, so unless Trickster's applications is absolutely stunning I think it's best he apply for another House.

 

As to the Most Valuable Player thing... Anon's a great guy, sure, but I think giving him a title such as Most Valuable Player seems a bit superfluous.

 

Just to clarify though, I do appreciate all Anon has done for the RP. Well done that man.

Shall the available mods get to work on their House Introductions? If we're going to start this RP at all we'll need a to start from somewhere. The question is however will we be using the same system as last time where we had six separate introductions, or has their been a change of plans?

 

Either way we'll need some notice so we can work on fitting the characters into a new environment along with creating the first few scenarios. Since my House (Stormwing) doesn't have a large amount of players I'm leaning towards merging with another group as soon as possible as to keep things interesting.

When I looked at the Earthborn's military force, I found it kind of strange how their military is relatively small, even for their time. I expected 100,000 or at the least 70,000 from a force that big. Unless the majority of their fighting force is the paramilitary i.e unofficial regiments and militia, or the profile is implying that they're bringing 30,000 ponies or so to every battle.

 

Plus, I would see them as a relatively strong fighting force.

I was thinking more along the times of the first beginning posts by the mods would just be a summary of whats been happening recently in the house, and maybe foreshadow somethings and such. Just as some minor exposition. I don't think we have to give our players something to do right off the bat, but again that's up to the mod, but a nice short exposition intro would be good.

 

As for our players and what we are going to make them do, the scenarios, I'd say come up with those when you are definite who will be in your house. You might get another player. I usually don't like it when i come up with a plan then something else comes up and you have to somehow squeeze that thing, in this case a player, into your plan, essentially sorta ruining it.

So that means that their average number of ponies in the main army is 20,000 to 30,000, but it's either saying that at height they have 100,000, the militia, buffalo tribes, navy, and paramilitary isn't included, or both.

Anyways, I'll start writing up an intro tonight for when we do eventually get started, though I'm not sure how much time we should realistically wait.

MORE EDIT: Also, working on some Earthborn lore for military doctrine and orgnaisation and such, may be some time though.

I'm not sure if Earthborn would want her, since her talent is swimming.... not many rivers in the Frontier... though there are the Fillydelphia river and Ponyvile river... but that still wouldn't be much use to them. Whitegold on the other hand has that nice harbor... not saying she should join Whitegold... totally not saying that... but they do have cookies!

 

 

Also @Everypony I have to take the Practice SAT tomorrow so I'm not going to be able to be on hear much today. Even though its not the real SAT I still want to do well on it so I will be more ready to take the actual SAT.

Yeah, I didn't really think about the Frontier's lack of rivers. I was more under the impression that they'd certainly like to re-assert control over lost Ponyville treasures. Maybe there's a way she could drain the town, too. Who knows. 

 

She's not overly happy with the Whitegold folk. They'd have to be super convincing. Which, as Whitegold folk, they're probably pretty good at being.

 

I think her ties with the Cult are loose enough that they wouldn't seek revenge on her for joining a House. Or maybe she'll just maintain those connections and join a house. Huh.
