Hmm, I can't stand Wobbufett, so I guess I'll go with Pachirisu lol. Question, are we going to be required to stick with our starters in our teams? Because I would really like one that can evolve at least. I'll be able to get a trainer bio posted when I get home, responding from my phone at the moment.

 

On the topic of evolution, while I'm assuming as DM you would handle that, out of curiosity how will pokemon like Graveler or Kadabra be addressed? Will they be able to evolve for their trainer or require a trade like the games?

Actually I forgot that I said I wouldn't give you a pokemon that couldn't evolve, so I'll re roll that for ya As for trade evolve Pokémon... I'll probably include a place where someone will give you a special item to evolve Pokémon like that.

Oh, awesome!  Poliwag is perfect for the trainer I had in mind  Though I'll want a water stone rather than a King's Rock, the reason why will be clear with the bio

 

Name: Lurele Steele

 

Personality: Lurele is a 17 year old trainer who's always eager to go out and get stronger with her team.  She's headstrong, can be a little arrogant/over-confident, and has a bit of a temper.  However, you would be hard pressed to find a truer friend!  Sometimes her mouth can get her into trouble, as she tends to speak her mind without a filter, but she's a good person.  Most of the time, anyways.  I mean, who doesn't like a good prank now and then?

 

Appearence: She has very long fiery red hair that would fall to about her waist, though she normally keeps it together in one long braided ponytail.  Her eyes are green, and her nails are usually painted green to match.  She's slim, in shape but not all that muscular.  Her usual outfit consists of a red tank top, black skirt, and black boots.

 

Other:  Lurele dreams of one day being a master of fighting-type pokemon and of being a Gym Leader with her beloved fighting types.  She looks forward to the day when her beloved poliwag will be a powerful poliwrath, and immediately loves any pokemon she catches.  If she knows that there is a fighting type to be caught nearby she will search for it passionately, often refusing to leave the area until she is able to capture it.

 

 

Went with a female trainer since you seem to have plenty of guy trainers already  And while I won't put anything like a preferred team (Anything fighting!  Anything!) I personally love Lucario and Blaziken, hehehe.

She looks great! I need to make sure I don't look at people's preferred pokemon though, or else I'll feel pressured to put them somewhere early on or not put them so I don't seem biased XD

I really wish I had X, but alas I have no 3DS nor money to buy one I'd say it's pretty worth it, and I don't really know where your mewtwo comes into that.

@@Ampharos,  In order to transfer Pokemon, you have to spend $4.99 a year for an extra, online-saved, 100 PC BOXes of Pokemon in a downloadable app for the 3DS. If a hacker gets in the system and destroys your BOX, Pokemon Company International has confirmed that they will not give your Pokemon back. There is still the BOX system ingame, but there is no other way to transfer Pokemon from previous titles.

 

I was wondering if the game was good enough to risk my Mewtwo, if only for about twenty minutes. That's all.

That, and if the game crashes while transferring, I lose all of the Pokemon involved.

While I haven't tried the transfer system yet (Wanted to beat the game first), I've been playing Y and would totally recommend one of them as just a pokemon game, tons of fun!  I don't know if the poke bank is available yet, haven't bothered to look for it.  I don't think there would be too much risk to do a quick transfer like that anyways though, I know I have a lot of pokemon I plan on transferring once I beat Y from my White 2.

 

 

Also, the more I play Y, the more I'm starting to look forward to this RP.  On a total pokemon kick!

So, I was going to keep Lurele's text black in order to save the colors for the sounds of her pokemon, which is something I haven't really done before.  I decided to try bolding it in order to differentiate speech from regular text, but I'm not sure how I feel about it.

 

I was just wondering if anyone else had issues with the bolded text?  I'm willing to change styles & pick a color if it's bugging anyone else.  Like I said, I'm still trying to decide how I feel about it.

Personality: An arrogant, sarcastic tomboy. She is highly competitive and she can come across as very rude due to the way that she acts. She is fiercely loyal and will do anything for a good friend.

Appearence:(Totally not my Pokemon X trainer) Short, boyish black hair, hazel eyes.

Beige cycling hat, ruffled black tank top, damaged denim shorts, leggings and black high tops.
