RAGESTAR 479 October 31, 2013 Share October 31, 2013 I think you should get outlast, but to tell you the truth, I would personally choose none of them over SCP: Containment Breach. That's one of the best horror games for PC ever IMO. 1 My main OC: http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/crimson-grinn-r3232 My EQW OC: http://mlpforums.com/page/eqw-characters/_/approved/crimson-clash-r12
Display Name 448 October 31, 2013 Share October 31, 2013 (edited) Call of Duty. While Slender isn't scary anymore, and the fact that game got pretty bad reviews, i wouldn't suggest it. Limbo is great, but i wouldn't consider it ''scary''. Unless you're hopped up on LSD. Then yes. And Outlast. Its a great game, its creepy and affordable. ($13.32 on Steam). Scootalove 10,692 October 31, 2013 Share October 31, 2013 You should get Outlast because, it is a pretty scary horror game but it isn't the best horror game of all time. But, you can still get it. Credit: Moony © Forum FAQ Forum Rules
longgone 873 October 31, 2013 Share October 31, 2013 Outlast, I would say. That game can be pretty scare sometimes, and it was one of the better horror games I've played. I always liked the idea of Insane Asylums and stuff .3.
rainbowdashbrony1 130 October 31, 2013 Share October 31, 2013 SO is Limbo similar to the Diablo game or not ? Never heard of Outlast but Have of the legendary Slenderman game I heard it was creepy and dark !
Chacobos 160 November 1, 2013 Share November 1, 2013 Outlast, it is a great horror game combining the aesthetics that makes a horror game a horror game. I can assure you that you will not be disappointed. Slender is scary if you are new to the genre but after a bit it looses its horror aspect which makes it a chump game imo. As for Limbo I have never played it so I wouldn't know.

Darker 1,352 August 26, 2014 Share August 26, 2014 Outlast, but Slender is pretty tense too, and original to say the least. Overlord of Darkness Signature made by: Astral Blitzen http://mlpforums.com/user/24786-astral-blitzen/
DubWolf 20,687 August 26, 2014 Share August 26, 2014 If you really want a scary game, it would be outlast. I'm sure you've seen several game plays already. If you want an E for everyone scary game (nothing bloody or disturbing), get Slender. I've seen people play Limbo, and it's not scary as much as it is fun playing it. Wait... I just necroposted!!! ScribbleSquabble 61 August 26, 2014 Share August 26, 2014 I'd personally say Limbo. Fairly simplistic platformer with a dark tone and puzzles requiring you to act fast and think. Though Admittedly it's not really a "horror" game, more like a dark indie title. For real scary stuff, I suggest either Amnesia: The Dark Descent/A Machine For Pigs, or Five Nights At Freddy's (WARNING: EXTREMELY CREEPY AND TERRIFYING!!!). Deathstroke 1,564 August 26, 2014 Share August 26, 2014 You should have added five nights at freddy's
Sunbro 4 Lyfe 939 August 26, 2014 Share August 26, 2014 You should get SCP containment breach. Not only is it superior to the options you've given (excluding Limbo, because that's. Not a horror game), but it's free. Completely free! "You really are fond of chatting with me, aren't you? If I didn't know better, I'd think you had feelings for me!" Solaire of Astora. Sugar Pea 2,683 August 26, 2014 Share August 26, 2014 I had a feeling someone was going to say Five Night At Freddy's. xDYou could get Alice Madness Returns. I hear it's pretty good, and plan to perhaps juice one out of my parents to get the game for the 360! :3 lol ℓ٥ﻻ ﻉ√٥υ

FancyHorse 1,209 August 26, 2014 Share August 26, 2014 Even though its currently in Alpha, DarkWood is looking to become a promising game. . It's a top down survival horror game set in the Soviet bloc (or at least I'm assuming.) . But I think its out on early access on Steam. SCP is definitely something to look into. And Outlast is pretty damn good. Limbo doesn't fall under scary, but rather... It gives a sense of hopeless wonder in a dark world. Slender is outdated. Do stick around Darling, I could use the company~
