Influencing the show?

Forgive me if this has already been addressed, but I have only recently made an account and have yet to find my way around, but have a question that I am sure I am not the only one who has ever thought/felt about this.

 

Has anyone ever come up with an idea of an episode, as in a legit episode that is family friendly and ~22minutes long, that they want to see produced?  If so, is there anything you can do than just write it?  I know nothing of animation, voice acting, production, and could barely claim that I know much about writing too, but I have an idea that I feel would be awesome.  However, I'm nervous to post it or publish it on a website/forum as I would feel it would invalidate any animators (or even the makers of the show) any chance of making it, but also know they won't even be able to if I don't either.  What do?

I think you should go for it! I mean, I've had that kind of idea nagging at me for the last few days and was wondering if anypony else was thinking it either. Hell, you might end up working for Hasbro or something if they like the idea enough XD

Anyway, don't be embarrassed about posting any ideas about a fan-inspired episode. I don't think it'd be that bad to see any on TV! Of course, they might change a few lines or something like that, but it'd still be really awesome to have an episode you wrote air on television!

I hope this post sounds as good as I attempted to make it .-. I'm not really good at inspirational stuff XD
