movies/tv Would you take up Panzerfahren? (For mixed genders, obviously)

I've just started watching Girls und Panzer, and from my experience in World of Tanks, I had a thought. If the art of Panzerfahren, or Sensha-do as it is alternatively known, did exist in real life, would you do it?

 

Personally, I would in a heartbeat. I absolutely adore the tanks of the Second World War, and it would do me a world of good to be part of the crew operating the vehicle. As for the crew position, I'd be the loader. I've got very fast hands and enough muscle to load shells into the main gun as quickly as possible. The mere thought of it gets me all excited; being inside the vehicle, hearing the engine roar, the tanks trundle along the ground, and of course, the combat itself.

 

So anyway, would you take up Panzerfahren? And if so, which crew position would you take?

I totally would, I love tanks all of them. I would either be on the main cannon or the driver either way I would love it. I think I choose the driver position, it would be awesome.

 

My favorite tank is the Leopard 2.

Definitely! When I was watching that anime I was thinking how awesome it would be to do that in real life. T^T

 

For a position...I would probably take up the commander spot because tactics are fun.

I'm not really sure i quite understand what exactly we're talking about. Are we talking about like operating tanks?

 

If so, not really, because i don't have the guts to kill anyone, or potentially get killed.

I would totally want to operate a tank, but for a position I would be the Lieutenant since I don't usually bark orders.

Yeah Zygen, we're talking about driving tanks. And what you said is totally fine with me. I understand not all bronies on here like the idea of fighting, and I'm good with it.

 

*to everypony else reading this thread* Ok, now tell me what tank you'd work. @Fluttershyfan94, you told me already, so you're excused

 

Personally, I'd work the King Tiger. Sure, it broke down a lot and stuff, but she's a beast, a true testament to the name "behemoth" and I'd love to be part of her crew. We'd be practically invincible, for Celestia's sake!

I'm too much of a band geek, wouldn't have anytime for tanks. Though if I did take up sensha-do, I would prefer to be the gunner or the loader. 

 

I'm not a tank buff, so my knowledge of tanks is really limited, but I would probably go with the M4 Sherman if we're talking old tanks. It seems like a pretty well rounded tank for the time period.
