Eternity heard Snowstorm's wolf friend growl. There was definatly a monster waiting in the dark. Had it already smelled them?

"We need to be prepared. As soon as the lightes come on, things are gonna get hairy."

She stood closer to Leif.

Where is Dead Eye? She thought.

Leif heard panomma "what you got girl " Leif asked

Panomma growled some more when she heard Leif she howled

Leif liked at eternity as she stepped closer "snowstorm eat the berries it's close" Leif said as he tossed dirt on the ground and made vines grow form the dirt

Grell spun his scythe at high speeds

Eternity spread her wings, and soared up a few feet above their heads. She prepared her dagger. When the lights came on, she would dive bomb the monster from above, surprising it. That would give her friends a little extra time, she hoped. The breeze from her wings stirred their manes, which she could very dimly see, making them look like ghost ponies.

Leif nodded "fine turn a light on" Leif said

Panomma sniffed the air and smelled the beast she growled

Grell was looking around looking for the pearls in the dim lighting

((No i meant what I typed I read over his/her first post and it mentions something about a human head so I was letting him/her know that we're ponies and humankind does not exist in this))

Snowstorm tensed up more, and glanced at Panomma. There was something up. The monster was coming, she was sure of it. Hopefully they would be safe.

She started thinking about the wonderful cold as much as she had before and the temperature in the room started to drop. "Keep yourselves warm!" She exclaimed, making sure to keep thinking about the cold. "This whole room is going to go below zero soon enough."

Leif smiled as his coat shifted to match plants of the tundra looking more like a brown green then his normal leafy green

Grell dug in his bag and pulled out a coat and put it on

((Since epic hasn't been it for a while we will pocket play her so for now it's like she's not part of the story))

Snowstorm tensed up more, and glanced at Panomma. There was something up. The monster was coming, she was sure of it. Hopefully they would be safe.

Snowstorm watched them both closely as she felt the freezing cold wash over her, not only from the frost berries, but from the dropping temperature. It slowly lowered and lowered down the scale. It'd hit 0 Celsius (32 Fahrenheit) soon, and then 0 Fahrenheit. She hoped that they had a way of warming themselves until this was over, because it was going to be very, very cold.

Eternity pulled a scarf out of her bag and wrapped it around her neck. It was special to her, given by her father the christmas before he died. It would keep her warm, along with flying back and forth, and kicking her hooves. She was so ready for the fight to start, her anticipation ponding in her chest, making her wings quiver.

Leif smiled, his irises glowing bright green, he want cold because when his coat changed he took on the plants attributes allowing him to handle extreme cold "alright everypony stay shape it's close" Leif said

The fur on the back of panommas neck was standing up her teet where beard

Snowstorm looked around carefully, noticing everything. If there was any sign of danger, she would alert the rest of them. Although she looked up at the ceiling, she didn't notice the beast at all. "I'll watch for the beast," she said, continuing to examine the surroundings.

 

((Do note that we're all in Washtub DC (didn't come up with that name) looking for pearls.))

Snowstorm kept close to the others, but not so close that their body heat would get to her. She kept thinking about the cold and the room cooled more and more, to make it harder for the reptilian beast to fight. She hoped with all her heart that this cold would establish its purpose and not be detrimental to the others.

Tough Luck walked inside to the house and explained to his father what he saw. His father sighed and told him that it was time. Tough Luck asked, "time for what?" and his dad replied, "go to your cousins down in Manephis and they'll explain everything to you." So Tough Luck gathered up his things and decided to start heading south from their small farm in New Hoofshire. While on his travels Tough had to face other monsters and always kept the ring from the minotaur's nose close as a token of good luck. After a couple days on the road he ended up in the capital in Washtub DC. Tough Luck always wanted to see the sights there and decided it would be a good place to rest and gather his bearings.

He started sneaking farther in and heard other ponies obviously concerned about the monster that lied ahead.

Tough Luck began to realize how cold the inside was truly getting, but seeing these ponies staring this monster in the face he knew this was the closest he was going to get to finding out about these monsters and why his father had to send him away. He reached into his nap sack and pulled out his parka and took his whip from his hip ready to stand beside these ponies, hoping they bid him good will as he was toward them.

Silver saw some dust falling from the ceiling. He flew up slightly, then seeing a glint of scales on the ceiling, made a motion to the others, signaling that the beast was on the roof. He made a fire in his free hoof to help keep the chill off of him, so he didn't slow down.

Once Dead Eye saw the scales moving out in front of him while on the ledge, he took out his lighter and attached it to the front of his arrow. He then lit the arrow on fire with his power and let it fly toward the scaly spot on the ceiling. The lighter shattered on impact and the fluid was ignited on the scaly surface. He then heard a loud hiss/roar as a large being fell to the ground and made the building shudder. "And here we go" He said as he notched another arrow

Tough Luck saw the scaly beast snarl with rage as he got up from the floor. Without thinking, like a second nature snapped his whip around the leg of the monster. At the same time he felt a strange surge of power he had never felt before; the power left his body in a wave and struck the being and Tough Luck was shocked to find the beast couldn't figure out how to regain balance at all as it flopped over and over on the ground.

"DIE!" Eternity screamed as she tore down from above, slashing the monster across the face. It roared, swinging a huge scaley claw into the air, smashing her to the floor. Her dagger skittered away across the tiles, and her scarf floating down, in shreds.

Eternity tried to get up, but a sharp pain in her side made her gasp. Something was broken. She forced her wings to beat, and feebly lifted herself up, but not before the monsters huge tail swung by, as it tried the escape the vines, once more flinging her across the room.

Seeing this all unfold before him Tough Luck stood in front of the downed ponies whip at the ready and began to snap the whip in front of the beast's face trying to hold it off as long as possible for the others regain their bearings. It lasted only the briefest of moments as the monster clawed at Tough Love. He was able to side step in the nick of time, but not without receiving a large gash in his flank.

Leif made more vines grow to catch her softly

Grell slowly got up and wiped a little blood form the corner of his mouth and ran at it again "that ain't gonna stop me scaled face" grell screamed as he ran at the foul beast he jumped and landed a perfect hit stabbing into it's back
