Because everyone needs a foil, and the closest thing I could think of to oppose the Sadists was a Masochistic bandwagon. Because, you know, sadists enjoy causing pain on others and masochists enjoy receiving pain from others. So yeah, the Sadists need a foil, and I gave them one. Besides, who doesn't love whips and chains, amirite?
