When the three Princesses leave the country of Equestria to attend a meeting with some Saddle Arabian dignitaries south of their borders, they inexplicably disappear, leaving only the ruler of the Crystal Empire behind to rule. Now faced with a country she didn't bargain for, Cadence is desperate to find the missing royalty.

Taking advantage of the weakened state of Equestria and the fear of its inhabitants, the long-forgotten and assumed dead Windigos descend from the north in an attempt to reclaim and freeze the land. Now distracted by this new threat, Cadence chooses a small group of miscellaneous ponies to travel to Saddle Arabia and enter its courts to discover what happened.

However, this new idea sets off their neighbours, who believe that Cadence is accusing them of kidnapping and attempting to steal their secrets, claiming the Princesses never arrived. Now faced with two powerful and dangerous nations, she is relying on the group to not only discover what happened, but to neutralize the threat and restore peace.

This roleplay will primarily take place within the capital city of Saddle Arabia in multiple locations, mostly the palace. However, there will be some action, so be prepared for that.

Rules:

1. Listen to the DM.

2. Romance is permitted, but it must be SFW and you cannot allow it to dominate your character or the roleplay as it messes it up for other players.

3. No gore or OP.

4. You can have two characters but if more people want to join than there are roles you have to give one up.

5. First come first serve. Unless they consent, you can't take someone else's role.

6. Are you reading this? Post a picture of Princess Peach if you are.

7. No death unless the other player and the DM (I) are consenting.

8. Keep rude language to a minimum.

9. Respect one another; if there is an issue take it to me or to PM.

10. I have every right to reject your character.

11. No dragons, alicorns, or non-canon species. Must be sentient within show canon.

12. You don't know any canon characters - ie. you are not the best friend of a M6 or whatever. In addition you are not able to play canon characters.

13. We start when there are five players. If there are more coming after the RP remains open until the spots are filled.

You can play the roles however you'd like, but keep in mind the general personalities of the roles; a Knight isn't going to be an insane murderer, or a Shopkeeper would be fairly gossipy.

As you can tell there are opposites; Monk - Courtesan, Knight - Rogue, Lord - Servant, etc, so that gives you room for conflict as well as friendly relations.

Yeah, either are open, the only two filled so far are (potentially) Lord/Lady and Courtesan, so you can choose one or mark down for both at this time.

I can't simply not join this, so if it's okay with you, I think I'll submit Lost Knowledge for the Doctor, although if the Mage ends up being opened, he could easily switch to that.

 

And I've always had issues posting images on this site because my computer is stupid, but I'll give it a shot anyway.

Here it is... It took me quite a while to create everything, but it is done. I hope it fits within the setting and everything. The whole "runestriker" thing doesn't even have to work this entire roleplay, but i thought it might add some interesting things. The GM can decide how powerful it is anyway.

Anyway, he is a smith so he can have easy access to simple weapons and he will be strong enough to wield them. Not your tipical knight, but he is wise and strong enough to fill the role perfectly!

All the roles have to be filled before any other roles open; I kept Mage as a last resort because I fear it'll be a really OP role. Since Doctor is taken and someone will be taking servant, are you still interested in using Monk?

To those applying or those who have already done so, keep in mind that your roles aren't the roles you'll be taking in the actual RP, it was the role your character held prior to being chosen. It's supposed to dictate each skillset a pony may have; for example, the Courtesan and the Shopkeeper are likely good at talking, and the Servant and the Rogue are good at going unnoticed. Solely because a role does not seem appealing, it will be open to your interpretation. The Monk doesn't necessarily have to be really pious, for example.

I haven't saved her story on my computer so fingers crossed that the database comes back up before this starts!

Alright, since the character database is back up and running, here is Myopia for Lord. I admit that the backstory for most of my characters is related to an Equestria Divided Rp but the grim dark will be toned down for other Rp's.

 

Speaking of grim dark, I would also liked to submit Lautrec the Embraced for the role of monk. No one ever said that the Monk has to follow the path of good.
