Crimson sighed, seeing that the three were finished talking to him, and gave a shrug, before trotting over and sitting in a nearby chair, continuing to drink. "Well...that went well...they managed to forgive me, and now instead of being hated, I'm just seen as mildly threatening and suspicious...it's better then yesterday, at least...maybe if I'm lucky, I can just get hammered and pass out..." he thought.

hopefully that heals correctly, and it should as long as he dosen't injure it again.

*He sits back and sips at his apple cider and grinning sheepishly*  Well... it's a long story... but the injury it's self came from a timber wolf attack in the everfree forest.... the bugger jumped at us by surprise... was about to go for my throat as it pinned down but I got my leg in the way first... *winces as he shuffles slightly*  But... *Grins and takes another gulp of cider* He came off worse than me thats for sure  *Sighs*  I feel kind of bad having to kill an animal like that... I guess it was just hungry but... it was him or me I suppose... self defense

StarShine wondered why everyone looked at her. She saw her friends blabbing on. They all looked at her head. She felt weird. Was their something in her mane? She brushed it off. She walked up to her friends and said "Hey Crimsons! Hey Volts! Hey Bliss and Skylar!" She said cheerfully.

"yikes, your lucky it was just your leg I guess.Hmm good to hear you have a respect for life. I carry all non-leathal weapons. As a doctor, I quite despise un-needed killing" Icarus said looking down at the many spheres inside of his other saddlebag.

 

"I've had to use them a few times, but all combatants came out with no major injuries every time" Icarus said.

"Pl-please don't cry Shammy..."

She stroked her mane, attempting to calm her. She felt her tears as they dampened her mane, but did not mind.

She kissed Shamrock n the forehead, again attempting to calm her.

 She calms down a little and rubs her eyes and sniffs a few times. "I-I'm alright. It's just.. what you said meant the world to me. No one has ever said anything so kind. And it really touched me." She takes her hoof and puts it over her heart so she could feel how fast it was beating. "And it looks like you stole my heart for sure...  mo ghrá." She says in Irish.

Seth had been walking for miles along the tracks, no sight of the dam.

 

'Maybe it would have been better it I didn't bail out 3/4 the way to Canterlot...'

He was nearing ponyville now. Once arriving at the station, he made his way over to a clothing store owned by a local friend of his. With little trouble, the wolf acquired a long cloche. Concealing himself, Seth walked over to the bar in an attempts to find his one friend who could help his mental state. When he got to the door, he hesitated to enter in case anypony recognized him. Seeing a pony walk down the street, Seth called him over.

 

"Can you deliver a message for me?"

 

"Well, I'm already late for-

 

"Twenty bits for the run." Seth said holding out a small bag. With a smile as confirmation, Seth relayed the message. The pony took the bits and walked in.

Based on the description provided by the wolf, Arkwing found Volt rater easily. He walked over to him, tapping the pony on the shoulder.

 

"Hey, if you are Volt, a friend is waiting for you down the road." Arkwing said before ordering a drink and leaving.

Shamrock rests her forehead against Ambiance's, looks deep in her eyes and smiles lovingly. "It means 'my love' in Irish... mo ghrá." She kisses her and nuzzles her cheek while she strokes her mane. Never in her life did Shamrock thought she would care about a mare this much.

The night was perfect. The sky was beautiful, the mare in front of her was beautiful. And she loved hed, something she had not known for a long time. She finally felt worth while, like she mattered. Like she could get close to another.

She blissfully enjoyed the moment, on a night that was full of them.

"I-i-it's g-g-getting really late. M-maybe you can keep me warm tonight?"

VOlt turned in the same  moment a new pony tapped him, he didn't even noticed his entrance.. he then heard the word 'friend'

 

"OH MY CEESTIA! Is him! Seth!.. well i hope so! thank you for the news! here grab these and have a drink!"

 

Volt launched at the pony his bits pocket and then opened the dorr with a kick without touching ground, in a matter of seconds he was in the street

*Slumps back in his chair, his hind legs still resting on the table, looks over to his two friends who are deep in conversation, though about what he couldn't tell, instead of butting in he looks around at the bar to see the return of Seth and Volt, though again he decides not to interrupt the conversation, he sighs and starts picking at the scrap of food left on his plate, looking a little bored*

Seth was atop one of the closed store roves, using the shadows to cloche his presence. At the sight of Volt, Seth hesitated.

 

'I don't know if I-

 

'Oh shut up with the moping. If anyone can make any sense with that twisted pile of mass you call a brain, he probably has the best shot. Now call over your killer friend so you can tell him about how you shot that pony.'

 

'That doesn't help your case. You know that, right?'

 

'Just do it.'

 

Seth stepped out of the shadows, but didn't leave the roof top. "Volt." he called out in a soft yell.

(Alright guys, last two times I posted on here I was ignored. And after that I kinda got left behind a little last night. Did I miss anything major?)

 

Sole sat at the bar and waited for something to do, but mostly the others there were busy talking with each other and either apologizing or telling stories. He didn't feel left out or annoyed, just bored as he sat there. "This sucks... I wonder if Seth would let me drink the product." He mumbled jokingly

Volt heard his name in a whisper, he imediately turn and saw his wolf friend hidden in a coat in the darkness of the street.. he reacted without even thinking

 

"SETH!!! BUDDY! YOU ARE STILL ALIVE!!!"

 

VOlt launched himself against the wolf at high speed and when he was close he grabbed him in a tight hug

 

"oh Celestia i thought you did something stupid! here you hare! i am so happy! quick what the hell are you doing here in this cold?!? Let's go inside and take something hot ok? you gotta try Vin Brulè! it is from my country you will love it! come on! tell me what happened! ehi.. why that sad face?"

*She settled down after eating the warm plate of food and continued to enjoy her apple cider as she watched her husband observe their surroundings.* You know... *she scooted closer to him in a flirting sort of way* You are quite handsome when your acting all protective over me. But I don't think you have anything to worry about my silly little stallion.

 

*Shrugs and wraps a hoof around her back, pulling her closer to him* It's my job as a guardian as well as your husband... Celestia would not have spoken to me otherwise after your ascention.

 

I guess... *she lowered her ears a bit* It would make sense instead of having a castle full of guards that I just have one um... *whispers* large powerful shape shifting dragon.... best guardian you could ever ask for!

 

Next to an ursa major maybe *he giggles* Wouldn't really want to go up against one of those... give me another dragon or a ban of hydras...or a swamp full of zombie ponies any day. I don't think I could go up against one of those.

 

Well luckily you won't have to *she giggled* don't know any reason why we'd run into such a creature. Heck I'm just glad tonight we only had to deal with a timber wolf, diamond dogs and Everfree dragons.

 

All in a days work for you then my sweet *he nuzzled her cheek as they clinged their mugs together* To once again, enjoying a peaceful night amongst friends and each other.

 

To us, and to Skylar and Callette! *she swigged befoer changing the subject* Have you two thought about your wedding plans yet @Skylar?

When Icarus heard the mention of a wedding , his mood immediately changed. He donned his mask quickly and walked out of the Tavern, and sat down on a bench across the street.

 

I cant even catch a break from the past while making new friends... huh, I thin I'll just sit out here for a second.

*Looks up from finishing the last scraps of food on his plate and grins at Her* Well we haven't set anything in stone yet... I proposed to her about two months ago now, we have yet to decide on a location but we don't wont to travel too far away from home, date wise we were thinking within the next 4 to 6 months  *Puts a hoof onto hers and smiles sheepishly* To be honest I think we are both a bit confused about it all since we have only ever been to be your wedding but... I guess we can figure it out, I mean... we have to right?

Icarus sits outside for a few minutes, getting his emotions under control. A small tear rolls down his face as he thinks. His mind drifts until he gets it under control, before he lets off a shudder. He sits on the bench for a few minutes, hoping he didn't make anyone mad.

Though his impressions spoke "leave me be" her inner alicorn sensed more then what his posture said...* He's so sad...*she turned to her mate* he's been through such horrors...just as we have...but his horrors he can't seem to heal from...*She fluttered out of her seat, pulling her hood over her head* I'm going to go out to talk to him for a bit. I'll be back soon

 

*She nuzzled Nights and headed out to join Icarus*

 

Mind if I sit down sir? *she asked him hummbly and sat down on the ground next to his bench* Forgive me for my assumption but...*pawing the ground* I noticed...your sadness at the mention when I spoke of my friend Skylar's wedding...*she looked seeing his eyes seemed to be focused on something else, a thought or image in his mind* You lost someone special to you...haven't you...*her eyes willowed with tears slightly...imaging that horror if she were to lose her beloved Night Lights* I'm...I'm...I'm so sorry...*she darted her head away from him, feeling ashamed of her tears for him knowing this wasn't what he needed right now* I...can't imagine losing my husband...I know the pain of losing a loved one...but not like that and...*She turned to him then, placing a hoof offeringly next to him* I want to help you...but feel powerless to do so...

*He watched as his white glowing mare trotted out after Icarus, smiling to her knowing her small gentle kind heart was up to its usual antics once again, then turned to the gryphon currently in charge of the bar. His eyes glared at Solo, feeling a sense of rivalry about him he actually enjoyed. He sipped the last of his cider, smacking his lips then gently got out of his seat*

 

Excuse me for a moment Skylar, I'd like to go speak to this gryphon running the place. He seems up my allie for a conversation don't you think? *Snickers as he eyed up Sole grinning with eagerness at having a predator like conversation* Feel free to come with me if you want Skylar, but I think we'll be talking more about...insticual topics.

 

*He confidently walked up to the bar to sit on a stool, promptly placing his mug down* Hey bar keep, the name is Sole is it not? *he smiled* May I have another round of cider? Crimson sat in a nearby chair and continued to drink as much rum as his belly could hold, while also whistling a merry old pirates tune, as he literally played with fire, tossing a small ball of flame up and down with surprising ease, so much in fact, that he did so without looking. "Hehehe, this bar seems to be in a much better mood today, I wonder why?" he thought.
