Skyheart nervously followed the wolf into the back room. When she had told Compass Rose that she was looking for a job, she wasn't sure she was up to working in a tavern. She had never even tasted alcohol!

 

She stood in front of Seth, her flank quivering as it always does when she is talking to someone new.

It was a painful day for hearts to say the least, first to start off. His morning was but the least enjoyable, dealing with his pluming issues, and trying to keep peace while construction was being carried on to the neighboring house. Then as the day progressed he had to deal with the insolence of a buyer of his companies product, not even knowing what it does, nor having the comman decency to get into some formal wear for the meeting. But none the less he carried on. He had decided to stop by ponyville for it's peace and serenity. But to only stumble upon a tavern...a drink could be something to give him something to calm down on.

 

Hearts calmly walked into the building and approached the serving table. Hoping to get a drink from the owner.

She shuddered as the tension was relieved from her back. She jerked a little bit, then began to relax. She felt relief as the tensions in her life melted away...

 

"U-um.. yeah... st-str..." She trailed off in her relaxed state. She couldn't speak in cohesive sentaces. "Str-stressful"

 "You don't need to talk. Just relax." Shamrock works down to her lower back from her upper back. She uses an elbow to put some pressure on a stress point to loosen her up a little more. Which made her back crack a few times. "Sweet Celly, the cracks from you  back could play a symphony!" She said jokingly as she made her way back to her shoulders. She then made her way to her neck. "Oi, even your neck is stiff. Just a sec, I'm gonna pop it to loosen it a bit. It might hurt a little." She placed a hoof on her head and one on her neck. "Deep breath." She then turned her head making her neck make a loud crack loosening it up.

Seth sighed. "Ok. Well, what role do wish to take up in the wonderful life of a bar? Also, if you don't mind me asking, of all places to work, why here? Sorry if I'm going to personal here" Seth apologized, looking away from the potential employee. "It's just that we all have our story. I am a diplomat when I'm not dishing out drinks."

 

Hearing someone at the counter, Seth got up. "I'll be right back."

Walking out to the bar, Seth met a stallion sitting at the counter. "What can I do you for?" The wolf asked.

*She frowns a little seeing all the new ponies arrived, her tail flicked in agitation and she squeezed Skylar a little*  

 

*Kisses her and nuzzles, whispering* Comon Cal, there is an empty table over there, lets head over for a bit more privacy *Chuckles a little as she flicks her tail at him and smiles* Comon you  *Nips her nose* 

 

 *Growls playfully and nips him back, whispering* Okay Skylie, *Looks over at the wine glasses and makes a face* Lets leave that... stuff there, it tastes pretty gross  *Pecks a kiss on him and helps him over to the corner table surrounded by a comfy leather sofa, she sits him down taking care to keep his bad leg above the table, she sits down next to him, brushing his cheek and smiling, the pair continue to chat amongst themselves before she wraps her hooves around him and begins smooching, closing her eyes and blushing a little*

Surprises at the fact that a wolf was working here, the stallion just calmly asked "a delightful pint of Apple cider would do it" he asked the wolf. It baffled him that anypony would allow a carnivorous animal that could potentially mean an ends to a ponies day. But he didn't come there to ask questions, he came for the drinks.

*The pair continue smooching in their own corner, totally oblivious to anything else, he kept kissing strongly and wrapping his hooves tight around his mare, after being apart for nearly a month all he wanted to do was just...*  :comeatus:

 

*Giggles feeling him push her back a little, she breaks off for a second, grinning with her eyes closed* I know... later I promise  *Nuzzles him and goes back to kissing*

"*yawn*... bye guys" said Volt yawning  looking at the couple leaving for the sofa

 

"if you need fireworks or something decorative for the wedding just ask me... *yawn* i have .. *yawn* some cool stuffs.... maybe a lightining pegasus like Skylar can enjoy some Tesla coils.. anyway.. have a nice day..."

 

he then jumped down the barrel

 

"time to meet some new pests ih ih" smirked Volt looking at the new ponies

Seth obliged the offer and retrieved a mug from below the bar counter. Going over to a wooden barrel, Seth opened the tap ant watched the golden brown liquid fill the glass. Once it reached the brim, Seth returned it to the awaiting pony. He could tell that the presence of a wolf was off putting for the unicorn, but at this point in his time here, he was fine with it. 

 

"Now if you excuse me," Seth pardoned, returning to his office. He sat back in his chair and awaited the response of the pony across from him.

*Feels her pick up the pace, he grins as she pushes into him a little, he breaks off abit, panting slightly* Wow, Cal... your full of fire today  *Rubs her sides gently and grins* 

 

*Bites her lip and smirks at him naughtily, placing a hoof on his tummy* Of course I am... one month without my stallion .. *Presses her hoof more into his stomach, feeling his athletic muscles, she looks up to him and grins, her cheeks burning red*  I just love you so much Sky *Wraps her hooves around him and begins kissing again, feeling her heart thumping next to his*

Skyheart looked at the wolf and blushed again. Why did she have to get so nervous around new people?

 

"Well, I was hoping for a waitress or bar maid niche" she said. "I'm quiet and shy, but I can be very friendly! And I have a good memory so... well, I-I just thought I might be good at this."

 

Skyheart ducked her head and continued.

 

"As for why, well... I don't belong anywhere else. A-and I was told by a friend of mine that taverns were a place for loners and such..." she trailed off, realizing how silly she sounded.

Seth gave a slight laugh at how nervous the mare was. Realizing that it was probably coming off rude, Seth had to explain. "Sorry, I'm not laughing at you. It's just that the last pony I hired for a role here basically demanded a job from me. I thought it humerus that you are so timid to the situation compared to her boldness. If you are wondering where she is, I think she left after I nearly got k-" Seth started, realizing what he was about to say. 

 

"After I nearly got kissed by a griffon." The wolf replied instead. "Long story, don't ask. And about being a loner, I agree with your friend. Working at a tavern is a great way to get to know the town.

 

"If you want to work here, I am willing to hire you. I'll handle the large crowd, but you can pick up anypony you like. Oh and before I forget, I have a few rules. 1: Don't fall in love with a pony if he/she is already taken. 2: No starting or ending fights, I take care of those. 3: If a pony's down, try to make them feel comfortable. It's our job to make sure that everypony is feeling good. 4: No discrimination on wolves. I'm fine with costumers, but you are an employee. However, I am more than fine if you ask questions. 6: If anyone asks for a meat dish, I'll handle that.

Icarus finished his drink and stood. He left the Tavern, an very very sad look on his face. Anyone that knew him well would know were he was headed. To the Ponyville Graveyard, were his was to be wife was buried. 

 

The solemn look on his face seemed to beg for a friend, but yet, none came to him.

 

I would do anything to have her back..... to have the comfort of my loved one....

*He breaks off, panting a little and nuzzling into her strongly, both of them giggle as they catch their breath, he glances around and sees the tavern is empty* Hmmm wonder where everyone went? seems like it's just me and you now  

 

*Grins and nuzzles into his neck, biting and kissing a little, making him shiver* Mhm, just me and you Skylie  :comeatus:  *Puts a hoof on the inside of his thigh and giggles as he nips her nose*   

 

*Blushes a little feeling her hoof on his thigh and whispers* So much for you wanting to relax Cal.... god and you call me naughty?  *Kisses her again, holding his hooves tight on her flanks* Grrrr I love you Cally, I missed this so much

 

*Wraps her hooves around his neck again and grins, rubbing his nose against his* Love you too   *Smooches again, closing her eyes*

As everyone in the tavern minds their own business, Crimson suddenly comes bursting through the door, looking very cheerful and happy, singing something about how he's in love with the most beautiful mare in Equestria. "Hahaha! Hello friends!! Great day, is t it?! Such a great day, in fact, that drinks are on me for the next hour! Why? Because love is the best damned thing to ever happen!!" he said cheerfully, with a chuckle before sitting down in a chair and kicking his hooves up. "Hey Seth, could ya pass me some hot sake?" he asked happily.

"let's bucking tear this place down! i bucking have to forget! Seth! BRING THE DUTCH! and lit up that bucking jukebox like you never did before! we are going to bring Ponyville down here on our hooves!!! I SHALL BRING POWER TO THE MUSIC!"

 

Volt shouted again while taking off and gathering some static electricty

Crimson easily caught the bottle and sat it down on the table. "Hmm...I'm sorry, but I think I'll pass on that offer, I'm quite comfortable with just drinking, thank you very much...anyway, I hope your not planning on hurting anyone, that would really put a dimmer on my good mood, ya know?" he said calmly.

*Looks up and frowns a bit at all the ruckus, she keeps her hooves around Skylars neck and flicks her tail in agitation as she gazes around the room*  :okiedokielokie: 

 

*He feels her tense and looks surprised, he kisses her neck and nuzzles, whispering* Sssshhh Cal, whats wrong? You seem very tense *Looks concerned as she trembles slightly*  

 

*She sighs and rests her forehead against his, still flicking her tail a bit* If you want my honest answer.... *Runs her hoof down his chest and bites her lip slightly* I just want some alone time with you thats all Sky without any interruptions, a month is a long time to be apart... *Sighs and nuzzles him, kissing once or twice* 

 

*Feels the tension all over he and smiles, closing his eyes and nuzzling, whispers* Don't worry Cal, lets just try to relax a bit first, I will make it worth your wait I promise   :comeatus:

Seth walked out of his office in response to commotion. When he saw what was going on, he gave a slight smile. The two love birds were still making out, the pirate was about to start a party, and Volt was about to amplify it to a... party. Seth gave a slight shudder to the thought. Seeing that things were about to get hectic, Seth turned to @Skylar. 

 

"If you two need a quiet room for the night, the third room at the top of the stairwell is soundproof. It might get a little rough down here, and you two might just want to..." Seth said, before departing.

 

He turned to  and @Doc. Volt who were already beginning to party. "Ok, we can have a party. But nothing like the griffon incident last week! Just give the couple a bit to get to their room, then we can start the bash." Seth said, already prepping the first rounds. "Oh, I will be collecting that tab on you, Crimson.

Peppy entered the bar, pushing the dirt off her shoulder. A small group of fillies were frustrating the squirrels living in the pine trees, and she had to go sort them out. Her mouth was dry and she was saturated with thirst - probably an apple cider, but most likely an alcoholic beverage. Placing her hoove on the door, she entered the bar, darkly lit. Her mane was faded in the light, and her expression, blank.

 

The bar was both full and empty, the sound of a pony's raucous echoing about the room, while a pony couple was settled in the far back of the bar, indulged in - Peppy frowned and pushed the chill down her sign as the couple slobbered over each other, supposedly and probably deeply in love.

 

She looked over the bar, stood to the far left end. Placing her hoof gently upon the table, waiting for service. Everyone seemed to be busy in their own conversation and business. Peppy felt against the fringe of her mane as she looked at the certificates and such decorated on the bar wall.

*Quivers slightly with excitement and nuzzles as he helps her rise to his feet, giggling as he squeezes his wing around her, she looks up to the wolf*  Thanks Seth, it's much appreciated  *Begins trotting towards the stairs with Skylar, bumping flanks with him and smirking naughtily, carrying the keys in her mouth*

"I wouldn't mind a party, but there's not enough ponies for that, it's just me, you, Seth, that mare tat just trotted in, and Icarus...but he doesn't seem to be in a partying mood...besides, I would prefer to just sit here and drink to my fiancé, with a nice, hot cup of sake...and trust me, Seth, I know. I have the cash to pay it off, don't you worry...oh, and miss, just so you know, all drinks are on me for the next hour, so enjoy it while you can!" he said cheerfully.
