Pyromancy in MLP lore.

If someone does not know what pyromancy is.

"divination by fire, or by forms appearing in fire"

-a Dictionary

And out of everything in any lore, it is my preferred form of magic and mental ability.

Name a game and I am a pyromancer if the game says yes to it. Dark souls, TES and any other game, name it and I play with the fire instead of the swords and bows.

and since I have a large interest in the show, it got me wondering, does this exist in the MLP universe or the lore?

I've looked around and its not shown up much results, magic, flying and so much more already exist here so theres got to be a chance that this exists too right?

so I ask the community, have you found anything or perhaps your able to point me in the right direction?

if It does not exist that much in the fanbase yet, then I guess I will have to write some in ;)

A samurai pyromancer? That's a bit overpowered.

I'd imagine it does because I'm sure theirs bound to be incidents with royal guard's ponies encountering hostile dragons and having you use force to move them.

At the very beginning of Season 2 episode 10 Twilight light a candle using her magic. This proves that it's at least possible to create fire using only magic in the fim universe. While it doesn't exactly confirm the flashy fireball kind of magic, considering all the crazy magic laser beams and explosion in the show it's not very far fetched. As well as the Phoenixes, who in episodes like Dragon Quest have been shown to use magic and wreath themselves in fire as a form defense when they're threatened. Seems like all the fire magic is in Spike episodes, weird huh?

I hope this helped! I only know this because I was wondering about the same thing a while ago.

The Fire of Friendship from the Hearth's Warming Eve episode. The pink heart-shaped flame that Clover the Clever's horn made, and it's mentioned in the Heart Carol/Circle of Friends. Does that count?

What a Unicorn can do with their magic seems only limited to what the writers want them to do. In show it would make sense that they can, as others pointed out similar instances. All three races are interesting, but the active use of magic is what makes the Unicorns really fun; with Twilight being the most exciting to watch.
