Oh Rainbow Dash and your ecstasy. You don't need to pop mollies to have fun with your friends. Dude that was nothing compared to the episode about Big Mac's rape, now THAT was ballsy. Yeah, the final battle was pretty epic against Nightmare Braeburn! Also what were your thoughts about episode 13, where Alicorn Flutterbat took over Ponyville? That was pretty awesome! That was pretty cool, but I don't like how they shipped her with Cadence and killed off Shining Armor that episode, I mean it wasn't THAT bad, but it was pretty questionable. Can't believe she convinced Big Mac to abort his baby after he was raped. I was very disappointed at that part of it... But I'm glad that later on they released alicorn Flutterbat from the hypnosis that was to prevent her from buildi... uhm... destroying Equestria and killed off Cadence too. Is it just me or did MLP get weirder on season 5? Eh, it got a little bit darker, but I feel like it remained faithful to fausts original vision. I could easily see the episode where they killed off Pinkie Pie and her coming back as dark and edgy Vampire Pinkamena happening in season 1. I didn't expect them to gift it to Princess Twilight Sparkle so she could lead a group of colonists in the founding of Equestria II though. I did like that Derpy turned out to be the only pony with the right brainwave patterns to be both ship's navigator and first-contact officer. Pinkie is a natural as ship's morale officer! I liked the 15th episode where celestia cut off twilight's horn, and she said that she was accually Dolan, and then twilly fell to the bottom of the city, where she was rescued by the other mane 6. Luckily her horn was replaced by an artificial one. It was weird watching fluttershy slaughter angel and then drink his blood in a bowl.. Luckily he was only in a coma and survived. Swirl 90 January 22, 2014 Share January 22, 2014 The best part was when Derpy and Doctor Whooves managed to save Equestria from the zombie pony hoard, I felt it was a nice shoutout to the fanbase to make it canon. Also Big Macintosh turning out to be the true heir to Sombra's throne...I didn't see that one coming. They disguised it really well, only when you look back on episodes you realise how evil Big Mac was. It's a shame he was killed off in such a simple way though. I mean, I was completely on board with the revelation that the changelings were an alternate future of Equestria tainted by darkness after the moon and sun exploded. I was even fine with it when they revealed that Big Macintosh was a robot duplicate built to replace the real Big Mac after he died in a tragic boating accident as a child. Hell, I didn't even cry foul when Berry Punch joined A.A! But then...then they had the sheer cahones to have Sombra's horn possess Zecora for three full episodes and have her try and take over the Crystal Empire once more.
