I’ll be honest, this was probably the least anticipated I’ve been for an episode all season so far. The premise didn’t really excite me, as I’ve never been all that crazy about Princess Cadence, and while I do enjoy Discord, we’ve seen plenty of him lately so his presence didn’t feel like that big of a selling point for me. Still, this was Twilight’s first major episode of the season excluding the two-part premiere, and I quite enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I would. Pinkie Apple Pie really set the bar this season for funniest episode of the season, but this one held its own too. The first half of the episode was my favorite, especially once Discord arrived. It was great to hear him ask for a fainting couch, to which everypony looked at Rarity. Another great bit of continuity there. Applejack graced us with one of her most epic facial expressions to date - the eyebrow raise. I'm not gonna lie, this was probably my favorite part of the entire episode. *Bricked*

Pinkie Pie was absolutely braindead in this episode. Season 3 and most of season 4 have been rather insistent on portraying Pinkie Pie as a total dunderhead, but this episode really went above and beyond. That said, I found her be quite funny anyway so I think I can overlook it. Normally, I’d call out Rainbow Dash for ditching her friends like she did (element of loyalty and whatnot) but I can hardly blame her for not wanting to stick around Discord, plus it meant that Applejack and Rarity got to have another classic moment together. I felt sick just seeing Discord give them the blue flu when he sneezed on them. :( Luckily, Discord got his punishment at the end.

I really thought this episode was gonna have a heavier hand of Twilight and Cadence and very little of the others, but thankfully the other ponies got their fair share of spotlight too and this is something season 4 has been doing a great job on. We didn’t see much of Fluttershy since she got to go and visit breezies (which she was adorably enthusiastic about) and this is exactly why Discord decided to get into mischief with the other ponies which I thought was clever.

Speaking of clever, that Glass of Water song was brimming with creativity and was a lot of fun to hear. While the song won’t go down as one of my favorites, it is definitely memorable as it was great to hear Discord sing for the first time. John De Lancie can do no wrong IMO. The scenes were great. I noticed the Harry Potter reference and I’m sure there were other references in there too.

Seeing Twilight and Cadence fight off the Tatzlwurm made for yet another great bit of action in season 4. Cadence is still a fairly boring character but I ended up liking her more than I thought I would, especially when she expressed to Twilight that she enjoyed her bonding time in spite of all of the distractions. Twilight and Cadence were adorably nerdy about Starswirl the Bearded too. :3

One thing I noticed immediately about the moral - we’ve had it before. Twilight Sparkle said: “I realized that when you’re with a good friend, even the most chaotic day can end up being a great experience that brings you closer.” Oh Twilight, how quickly you forget some of the lessons you already learned!

For an episode I was barely even looking forward to, it managed to deliver some good laughs. It's far from perfect but I like it. :)

I thought this was a great episode personally. Discord's antics have yet to disappoint, even if they aren't as menacing as before. I like how he's not completely good, but he's clearly learned how to have his fun without crossing the line and getting banished or turned back to stone.

The song was one of the better ones this season. It added some good, funny moments to the episode instead of dragging on too long and wasting time like I felt some of the other ones have lately.

Discord deserves his own spin off show called "Chaotic Conumdrums" where he stars. A view inside his day to day life. Except like MLP. This will then proceed to become a movie. Then a book. Then a musical. Then everything else. Then the world will implode on itself and Discord will break the fabrics of time, destroying life as we know it. Well, maybe not that last part, but still. Discord is a GREAT character, and he needs more screen time!!!

Hey, he was concerned about the well being of his friend! He didn't want to give her the BLUUUUUUEEEEE FLUUUUUUU, now would he?

Quack. Totally a Ducklett.

Discord wants a Cheese Sandwich.

Discord x Cheese Sandwich  ;)

I personally liked this episode. It has My favorite villian in it, Discord. Although you may argue he's no longer a villain, i still see him as one.

I really thought that Discord was sick, and he was just being a whiny brat. That is until I saw the ending. When Apple Jack and Rarity contracted the Blue Flu, i wondered what they were experiencing. Discord seemed to bring things to life when he sneezed and I thought Rarity and Applejack would be doing the same thing.

After the whole explanation,  I still wondered what happened to them. Did they get sick? Did they forget about Twilight? So many questions left unanswered.

I love the poetic justice at the end of the episode, but i couldn't help but to "d'aww' at Discords behaviour. All he wanted was for Twilight to show him that she cared about him...who could blame him?

This episode was nicely brought out, But I think the lesson was a little step behind

Anyway...My sister noticed in the new Theme

When fluttershy says "Sharing Kindness!"

Well if you look in the window of her  cottage, you will see Discord XD

Just a little observation and I'm pretty sure I'm not the first

I thought that this episode was ok I guess, but there were some things that did annoy me a bit. But the most annoying thing was how come Twilight Sparkle was just able to fly normally, and that she was only struggling because she has been flying for a while. If you know what I mean.

Can't believe I'm only just now watching this episode.

It's awesome! :D

Discord is still the best troll ever. Glad we're seeing more of him lately. :3

it might just be my imagination (i haven't watched an episode with cadence before this one in quite some time) but does anyone else feel like cadence's voice sounds different in this episode?

According to IMDB, the same person has voiced Princess Cadance in every episode.  Of course, she might have been doing the voice a little differently in this episode than she did in the past.  I don't personally remember thinking that it sounded off.
