Renatus gave one final turn as he said, " We should, lets meet tomorrow at the inn at around noon, aright? Anyways, see you later." Exiting and closing the door behind him, he decided to deal with the Changeling in the inn first as he began walking to the inn. This day has been pretty good...I got enough energy to last me a week and a new source of food. Maybe I should stay in this town a bit longer...he thought as he walked.

Sapphire smiled and said "Sure, noon it is" She then got up and walked back to her house, grabbing everything she needed. When she came back she threw it all over the floor and grabbed the pan, just incase. She then jumped on the bed and started reading her new book.

Ground Breaker was fuming his cigar clenched tightly in his teeth, first the one changeling had walked into his establishment under the form of a pony he had hired and could only assume was now dead, he didn't mind this too much but then the imposter had completely ignored him! He considered briefly going after the changeling and tearing him limb from limb starting with his wings

 

But before he could decide if this might expose him another different drone walked into his inn. 'May the heavenly Queen drain them dry! How many intruders are in my town!" He thought to himself. He'd have to reconsider ripping the other one apart, he might actually be out numbered and he didn't like this at all.

 

Him merely continued to glare at the newcomer waiting for him to make the first move and hopefully figure out what this invasion of his town meant. Short circuit walked into the inn. He was buzzed due to the hard liquor in his hoof. The whiskey was almost gone, he could handle the sting and still want more. But the fact of the matter was things were very suspicious. First the newcomer, making that mare open up instantly...forgetting about the death of her mother. It didn't make sence. He then have a quick glance to the one with the cigar, he didn't look to pleased. But he kept his eyes away for no further attention

Entering the inn, he realize that their was another Changeling beyond the one he was going to talk to and he realized it was probability a bad time so he turned around and walked right out and headed for the town square. Not really looking for another meal, but to waste time until the Changeling was alone.

Lightning flicker soon found the sheriff and swooped down in front of him. "ARE YOU THE SHERIFF?!? I guess you are because I saw you were wearing a badge earlier, but that's not the point YOU HAVE TO HELP! I THINK I HEARD A CHANGELING JUST BY THE ALLY BY THE INN! IT'S CHANGELINGS I TELL YOU! THEY'RE HERE TO 

Silver: "SHHH! We don't want this to get out! It might already have though..."

Atlas: Atlas gave the pony panicking a nice hard hit to the jaw. "Get a hold of your self! Panicking is what the bastards want us to do! We have to unite and find the fakes and give them the noose! Changelings are not a small matter! Were there is one there is another and these are out for blood. Not just emotions. Come on you two! We're going to the inn. I can pick out a Changeling easily. I know a few things"

(I don't plan to make this fast. I might pick on out and then give them a chance to escape so they keep going)

Atlas: "Go check the area around the inn. Check everywhere. under stuff in stuff whatever. If you find something yell. If you see a pony back there run back here. Changelings won't attack groups. They prefer to attack with stealth" He told the panicking pony from earlier who's name he still didn't know.

Silver: "Should we spill the beans?"

Atlas: "If we do then the Changelings will flee the town or start to kill faster. So no not yet. Alright! I want everypony to line up! This is a weapon search!" He waited for the sheriff's approval who gave a nod. The search everypony in the inn which turned up nothing.

Atlas: "We wait for that pegusis and then we go around town. Changelings stalk their prey at night"

Lightning flicker started to look around. Looking at every pony. He felt kinda like a cop holding everypony up like that. He then decided to walk down the hall to look at his room he'd rented the night before. The place was a tip. Someone had purposely gone through his temporary room and torn it to bits! They even ripped the book he brought apart. Silver star followed flicker to his room. "somepony has destroyed this room. It wasn't like this a couple hours ago. What's your name by the way? Mines lightning flicker."

Night Comb woke up. Sighing, he moved back to his small corner store. It was empty again, thank Celestia. He heard some commotion but ignored it, instead choosing to sleep or read. He finished another chapter before laying his head on the counter. 'Not too bad. Boring, but fine...' He mumbled to himself.

Renatus just calmly walked around the town square, taking in the town during the night. It is quite beautiful...he noted as he watched how the moonlight struck the nearby buildings...Luna is must be working hard today...too bad she became our enemy, her night is truly stunning. He mind began to wander and eventually settled about the utter failure the Battle of Canterlot had been. We had planed it all, even to the last detail...what went wrong? What did we miss that cost us our victory and our food source?

She stoped by a newspaper and grabbed a copy, reading a side story "More dead as town is under attack by changlings..." She rased her eyebrow and looked at it "One pony that has gone missing is clean plate..." She smacked her self, then looked at it "He was last seen walking outside of the waiter" Her eyes grew wide "Wait.....That pony....A changling...." She gritted her teath

(Just so this doesn't escalate to much the townspeople don't really know its Changelings. It's just a rumor and the death count it two but only one is known as the waiter's body hasn't been found. The town is still on edge though and is going to want the leaders to do something and if any more panic begins there my some lynch mobs. Only I can create mobs and riots! I'm keeping tabs on the town's panic and later once it's high enough and i give the go ahead you can rouse the populace)

 

Atlas and the Sheriff walked outside the inn.

Atlas: "A curfew needs to be set up. Nopony out after dark unless their life depends on it. Double up the guard. No guard can be alone outside. You also need to calm everypony down. It may be Changelings but they don't need to know. I've seen this before. They think the police can't do their job and put justice in their own hooves"

Silver: "A curfew! The major won't like this"

Atlas: "Do you want to have a body count?"

Silver: "..."

The two silantly go to the town to find the mayor/

Silver "he should still be in his office" He opened the door to the major's office.

Sapphire sighed and re-read the paper "Oh god....I need some sleep" It hadnt said anything about changling, just about a food eating fair nearby. She walked home and sighed, then sat down on the bed and read her book for a while, about 1 hour later she went into a light sleep

Might Comb opened his eyes. He looked around. It had been a while since he fell asleep. 'Odd. Some stuff is gone.' He said looking around. It felt...empty. Something was missing. He got up and walked around, checking for any obviously stolen items. He didn't find anything. 'Coulda sworn...oh well.' He sighed before Sittang down and beggining to read another book.

silver had said something to lightning flicker before he left "don't be alone. If there are changelings among us we can't risk being alone at any time." Lightning flicker pondered this as he cleaned up his hotel room. What should I do? He wondered. I don't know anypony here, yet I can't go back to ponyville, The sheriff might need me. He did the only thing he though reasonable. He went and sat in the bar. Lots of ponies, I don't really have to talk to anyone and if the sheriff needs me his office is just across the road. he thought to himself, though I better keep my wits about me. "Bartend, none alcoholic cider please!"

Sapphire coundnt sleep, She felt something was wrong, she knew her mom had been killed and all, but she still had no idea were her dad was. She slowly folded up her book and looked at the clock "Gahhh, It will be morning soon..." She sighed and hoped into her bed

Renatus awoke with a start from a nightmare he was having. Breathing heavily, he quickly calmed down as he took in his surroundings, it appears he fell asleep on one of the town square's benches. Shaking the morning dew off him, he started to search the town to find the stallion named Atlas and if he was enough of a threat to the hive, eliminate him. It was going to be a difficult task in the daylight, but he was optimist though about his chances.

Sapphire fell flat on her face. She was still holding the book infront of her, and had not seen a chair. "Gah....My fliping face!" She could taste blood in her mouth and sighed. She then walked down to the lobby, got a few things to eat, sat down and started reading
