writing Time- A Positive Attempt

I wrote this like a year ago in response to another poem of mine. I hope you enjoy it.

 

Time- A Positive Attempt

 

Time and I,

Don’t see eye to eye.

But our intentions are congruous,

As our aims and effects intertwine.

 

Time is a tool,

Created by man to assist us.

But to some like me,

It makes the pain persistant.

 

But if I took time’s assistance,

And allowed it to come in?

Would it really hurt me?

Like my mind insists.

 

My mind fights a battle against time,

Not allowing me to see the positive side.

So for now I must wait in the shadows of time,

Until I can meet it eye to eye.

Haha I didn't have it from memory, I had it saved on my computer and just joined the forums and decided to share it
