Changing the Intro

As many of you may know, there was a thread on here the other week discussing the quality/suitability of the show's opening titles and theme. Whilst most seemed to be in favour of the current intro, it got me thinking: If I had complete creative control over the show's opening, what would I change?

 

Well, the first thing I thought of was this:

 

... and then I slapped myself and thought of something more fitting. One thing that I really liked about Equestria Girls was the art style used in the opening theme. So, visually I'd probably want to use something like that. As for the theme, I would keep the "My Little Pony... My Little Pony" (because otherwise it'd just be wrong), but I'd probably change the lyrics to be a bit less... cheesey.

 

This is actually kind of close to what I'm imagining, but of course with more going on (i.e not as minimalist as the video) and a musical theme rather than whatever they used:

 

 

But, I'm really interested in your thoughts. If you could change the show's intro any way you like, what would you do?

I would have a slideshow of the show from the first three seasons, where the slideshow transitions into the Season 4 intro and even the background ponies are involved with the intro.

Hmm... I'm big on the "if it isn't broken don't fix it thing", so most likely nothing.

At the end when there's a picture of Twilight and all of her friends they should include a lot more characters in the picture, it feels a little empty to me. Other than that I'm fine with the intro and think it's great.

*shrug* I, personally, like the intro.

The fan-made one is pretty good, though. But you gotta remember, this is STILL a show for little girls, too, and the cutesy intro is perfect for them.
