"Alrighty." Comet said, with a soft giggle. Such an action caused Duosion to roll her eyes at the trainer, though Comet couldn't help it. Jared was simply good company.  Something Comet rarely got to experience. "Let's go, then." The two then made their way to Ecruteak.

 

As they walked, Comet remembered that this person was indeed a trainer. "You're a trainer, right?" She began. "So, what are you doing here in Johto?"

Jared shrugged. "Seemed like there was plenty of opportunity here, I don't really know. I'd love to battle a few Gyms, maybe a contest. I just want to try my hand at everything, and Johto looked like the place to do it." He stroked Purrloin lazily. "What's that dome over there?" He asked, suddenly attentive, as he looked at where the Poke'thlon Dome could be seen over the trees.

As Rin stumbles into the Lavender Town pokemon center, she manages to explain the situation as the nurses rushed to check on the bloodsoaked girl.  After making sure that nurses and authorities had been dispatched to Mister Fuji's house to check on the old man and Sekel, Rin practically collapses into one of the patient's cots as one of the nurses takes care of the gash in her back.

 

Shutting her eyes and letting her Eevee nuzzle her face, Rin tries to contact Deoxys again.  Umm...  Deoxys?  I stopped the man from killing the old guy...  Is that why you sent me here?  And are you going to keep rushing me from fight to fight like this?  I don't know if I can last if that's the case...  Both disciples were strong, I don't think I would have made it if I had been by myself...

Mason gives an exasperated sigh as he hears the voice behind him, slowly turning around to face Taylor.  "I've no desire to fight you, Joybringer.  Not yet, at any rate.  How were you able to find me?"  As he speaks Mason's hands drift into his pockets, closing around the pokeballs containing his own pokemon.  It seemed the more he tried to slip away and keep a low profile, the more this pair was hounding him...

He asked, suddenly attentive, as he looked at where the Poke'thlon Dome could be seen over the trees.

Jared's answer seemed to be missing some details. Though, not a full lie, Comet didn't think he was telling the full truth. It might have been personal, though, so she wouldn't bring it up. 

 

"I'm not actually sure." Comet said, tilting her head. "I heard of some sort of sports thing in this region. Though, not sure if that's it..." It was right near the National Park, though. Comet had been there before. She remembered seeing lots of trainers in the park, which made sense because of the whole bug catching contest. Comet wasn't very interested, but Jared might be. "Oh, yea..." Comet began, in a soft, low voice. "Apparently there's foreign pokemon in the park on contest days, sometimes. But that might just be a rumour..."

Indigo took the offered hand and climbed onto Flygon's back. "Route 38? I've got to go there as well to stop a disciple of Kyogre. I didn't think you'd be helping me with the battle." After climbing aboard, Indigo petted Emolga's head. Fletchinder merely sat on top of Indigo's beret.

Emolga and Fletchinder flew beside the group as they flew towars the Weather Institute on Route 38. "There was a bug-catching contest today!? I seriously don't want to do that. If the discipledoes have water pokemon then we can both easily take the pokemon out but what about the actual trainer? Besides, Rayquaza doesn't want Kyogre or Groudon to make this world a desolate place. He just wants it to go back to it's natural state, without pollution." Indigo noticed Emolga and Fletchinder struggling to catch up so she put them back in their pokeballs for the rest of the flight.

"bug types aren't that bad but dark and ghost types" she shudders "well never mind that also you cant completely remove all the polution in the air plants need Co2 to survive and make it into oxygen for pokemon and people to live but i understand Rayquaza's goals now i'm curious what other disciples are out there" Flygon seemingly picked up speed when Fletchinder and Emolga returned to their pokeballs guess she didn't want to leave them behind.

“I know that you can’t remove all of the pollution from the air. I think Rayquaza just wants the human side of pollution to stop. You know, all the fumes from smoke and that.” Indigo gazed ahead of Flygon and saw the Weather Institute approaching fast. She was about to say that they were there but then remembered that only followers of Rayquaza can see over large distances. “Sekashi, we’re almost there.” Indigo said instead.

Sekashi gazed ahead of Flygon she didn't see the weather institute as they get closer she was able to see it "i guess you have enchaned eye sights anyways Eris lets land now" The Flygon nodded and landed near the institute and some grass Sekashi then jumps off her Flygon and took out a Luxury ball and sent out Luxray.

Indigo hopped off of Flygon and landed on the grass. She untied her jacket from around her waist and put it back on. Zipping it up, she released Fletchinder and Emolga from their pokeballs. "Now. Where could that disciple be?" Instead of going for his usual perch on top of Indigo's head, Fletchinder opted to go onto Luxray's back instead. Emolga went for Indigo's shoulder and nuzzled up close to her cheek.

 

(side note: Yes, Indigo had her jacket untied this whole time. Completely forgot about it until now. )

Luxray smiled she didn't mind Fletchinder on her back her tail was in the grass area before Luxray could say anything something bit her tail "LUXRAY!" Luxray yelled as a pokemon bit her tail she jumped away from the grass the pokemon that was biting well chewing on the Luxrays tail was Zwellous one of its heads was chewing on Luxrays tail Sekashi just looked at it with pure amazement and disbelief.

Fletchinder hovered in the air as he felt Luxray jump out of the way of something. "How the hell is a Zweilous here!? They're not even native to these regions!" Indigo yelled in a state of total disbelief. Emolga glided down to see if she could help with anything. Looking from one head to the other, she decided against it. Emolga knew not to mess with Zweilous. Meanwhile, Fletchinder flew around both of Zweilous’s heads, hoping to make it dizzy.

"exactly how the hell is a Zweilous here" Sekashi said surprised  Luxray shaked its tail until the Zweilous letted go Luxray then turned around and spoke to the Zweilous "luxray?" asked Luxray curiously. The Zweilous drooped is head slightly and replied (know what i'm not gonna type out their poke speech i'm just going to type it out in english) "well trainer said i was too weak so he said i was free to go".

"Your trainer released you because you were too weak? That's no excuse!" Fletchinder screeched. (Know what? I'll do it as well) Emolga walked up to the Zweilous and cautiously tapped one of its heads. She didn't want to say anything to the Zweilous.

 

"Uuh Sekashi? Do you know what they're saying? Besides, we had better wrap this up quick. We've got a disciple to find over in the building." Indigo jabbed a thumb in the direction of the weather institute.

"apperently Zweilous's trainer released it because it was too weak thats one lost cause for Zweilous's trainer i forgot what Zweilous evolves into but you have to be confident and pesistent when training" she said sadly she then approached the Zweilous with a oran berry in her hand "here you look hungry" the Zweilous happily eats the oran berry Sekashi then takes out a Luxury ball "hey Zweilous your original trainer was careless do you want to come with us?".

 

The Zweilous looked at Sekashi curiously then both of its heads nodded Sekashi smile and tapped the Luxury ball on one of its heads Zweilous went inside 3 shakes and the Zweilous has a new trainer Sekashi smiled happily "i'm going to make sure this ZweIlous doesn't get the attention that its old trainer gave him".

"Zweilous evolves into a three-headed dragon called Hydreigon at level 64." Indigo said absently. Turning around, she walked over to the weather institute. Opening the door, she walked in and flicked the light switch on. Emolga followed her trainer and eventually went back atop her shoulder. She seemed extremely comfortable. Fletchinder squawked and went to go back to Luxray in order to stand on the pokemon's back.

Sekashi returned her Flygon into its Luxury ball and followed Indigo into the weather institute "Still can't believe that Zweilous's old trainer abandoned it for being too weak " Sekashi said as looks at the Luxury ball where she kept Zweilous in. Luxray kept a caution eye out in case they get attacked "well least i have a new Dragon type to talk to" Luxray said jokingly.

"Haha that wasn't very funny." Fletchinder chuckled just to humour Luxray. He flew off of Luxray's back to land back on top of Indigo's head. Indigo looked around with wide eyes. for a newly-built weather institute, this was big. Glancing down, she saw that they were one floor up from the ground floor. Leaping over the railing, she tried her best to slow her descent by controlling the air around her. It worked for the most part, even though she still fell quite hard. Getting up, Indigo rubbed her backside and looked back up at Sekashi

"Sekashi! I'm going to go this way and try to find him. You go a different way and see if you can find the disciple down that corridor! Shout out if you find him!" Indigo yelled back at Sekashi. Without waiting for a response, she took off down the corridor in order to try and find the guy.

 

(I don't know if it's a boy or girl so I'm just using the 'he' as a generic term)

Sekel groaned and moved a little as he was put onto the stretcher. He didn't open his eyes on the way back to the Pokemon Center and Sekel didn't even move when he felt someone take his pokemon to examine them.

Sekashi went the opposite way where Indigo went she was careful that she didn't attract unwanted attention but she was reminded of something that she haven't even used her powers that Zekrom gave to her she will use it some other time she took out a Luxury ball and sent out her Zweilous she picks him up "ok Zweilous you will stay out of your pokeball for a bit hmm i think i will call you Nitezen" she said as she continues to search for the Kyogre disciple.

"Oh, it's easy enough to follow a trail of malice," Taylor said. "But why would you swear fealty to one so dark? I get that 'the world will be united by pain' thing, but it just sounds like propaganda. Why are you following him? Seems kind of a dismal existance, to lurk in the shadows eternally just to spread a few bad dreams, to fear the light of day and the laughter of children." Even though he sounded genuine, his hand did drift to his pocket as well, unconsciously mirroring the other.

Speeding on through the route, Cain began to take everything in in a very energetic way. Absorbing lifeforce seemed almost like eating or drinking to a Yveltal follower, while not really as necessary as the other two, he felt a rush of energy from the act. "It seems that some have more lifeforce to absorb than others," Cain reflected, looking at his eye in the shard of glass which he kept from the fight earlier. "I've drained a few Pokemon yet still don't have the reserves that I obtained from Fuji."

 

It mattered little now, with Honedge and Bisharp close behind him the group continued to dash for their objective, covering quite a bit of ground in a shorter amount of time than usual.

When the two arrived, there were quite a few trainers around. "Ah! I believe it is a contest day. That's fortunate."

"It is," Jared agreed, grinning. "Let's sign up, then!" Jared took Comet's hand, so they didn't lose each other in the crowd, and pushed his way through up towards the counter so they could sign up for the Bug-Catching Contest.

 

Upon reaching the courtyard where they started, Jared dropped Comet's hand to block the sun from his eyes as he examined his surroundings. "We can only bring in one pokemon," he murmured. He quipped at Purrloin, "Jag, the pokemon in there are gonna be tough, but I'm picking you to go in. We can't have Vern blowing them all away." With a confirmative meow, Jared looked around with keen eyes, trying to get a head start on where the rare pokemon were. He couldn't see much through the tall grass.

Renee shrugged. "Maybe, maybe not," she quipped back. "All I know is that you were promised a helping hand." Looking around, she murmured, "and that you wouldn't keep knocking people out." Sighing, she said, "what's this, then?"

"The machine?" Leon asked. "Not sure. It looked like it might be some sort of portal or something. I suppose I'll find out soon enough..." he said with the blueprints still in his bag. "Now if you'll excuse me I'd like to keep looking around this place. Hopefully I can find some spare parts or something. You can help if you want, just make sure you don't slow me down." he said continuing on his way.

 

Revvy nodded and looked back at Cedric. "Bet you I can win first place!" "You're so on!" The two brothers ran into the national park eagerly, returning their Pokemon to their Pokeballs and waited on a bench for the announcement of the start of the contest.

Jared's eyebrows raised, and he looked longingly towards the National Park. "Let's see if it's a contest day, then," he smirked. Oh Great Victini, this is for you. 

When the two arrived, there were quite a few trainers around. "Ah! I believe it is a contest day. That's fortunate."

Comet and Jared entered the park just in time as the Bug Catching Contest started almost as soon as they got there. "Hello everyone" the announcer said. "It's once again time for Goldenrod City's Bug Catching Contest. For those of you that are new here the objective is simple. Catch the biggest, rarest, and overall best bug Pokemon you can find." he says ecstatically. "You will be given 20 Sport Balls and 20 minutes to catch whatever you'd like. Remember that while you can catch as many Pokemon as you want, you can only enter one of them to be judged." the announcer explained. "Finally you can only use one Pokemon from your team to help you catch the other Pokemon. Your other party members must stay with the lady at the counter until the event is over." said lady went around to everyone, collecting each trainer's unused Pokemon. "Now without further ado, lets catch some bugs!"

 

The park filled up with bug types as well as the other trainers. From where Comet and the others where standing they could see a couple Caterpie roaming around and resting on branches along with some Metapod. A bunch of Kakuna where all attached to one tree where powerful buzzing could be heard. It was hard to tell, but it seemed there were a couple yellow specs near the edge of the park, accompanied by some sparks. Further to the left there were some shaking bushes near a tree nearly covered in honey that was being guarded by some Combee.

Revvy gave the Pokeball of Ellie to the lady while Cedric gave Fae's Heal ball to her. Revvy immediately went to the tallest grass he could find and started searching randomly through it. Cedric brought out Cloud to sit on his shoulder and began walking towards the yellow specks he saw, curious as to what they might be.
